Story
Lola was abandoned in July of this year. We took her to the vet immediately since her fur was matted, she was visibly dirty, and appeared to be hurt. She had lymes disease and we completed the full treatment before trying to find her a new home. She is a very sweet and loving girl. She is fully house ttained and will not use the bathroom in doors. She is calm, loving, has a sense of humor, and loves affection. I am not sure she has ever had real play time. We have tried to get her to play and bark but she will not play or bark inside the house. Lola deserves a good home. I can no longer afford to provide care while we search for a good home. She needs activity daily as most huskies do to prevent boredom. She is mild natured and very intelligent. If you are invested in providing a loving home for Lola, please send an inquiry.

Story
What my friends at Little Victories say about me: Duncan is the sweetest, cuddliest guy we know! He is very affectionate once he gets to know you. He does need a little time and neutrality to feel comfortable meeting new people, but give him some space and he will come to you. Pictures barely do this cute face justice, and he loves to cuddle up next to a person he knows and trusts. Duncan is young, bouncy, and playful, as any pup should be. He plays like a young dog, but he loves the company of other dogs who also want to play. He is one of our best testers for other pups! Duncan walks very well on a leash. The best kind of home for Duncan: Duncan is young and adaptable, so with a family willing to put in the work, he will easily thrive. His nervousness can be greatly helped by investing in training and overall confidence building. He should meet any other dogs in the house before adoption and does not get along with cats. Duncan is not house trained, but he is crate trained. He should be supervised in a yard as his previous family said he could climb, but we have not seen this behavior.

Story
Howard has such a great attitude about life! He is very sweet and loves to be wherever you are He does well for routine vetting, grooming, and rides well in the car. His favorite activities are running and chewing on toys. Howard is an active guy who had a pretty rough start to his time with us, but we know a great home out there for him. He always has something to say! The best kind of home for Howard: Howard does well with strangers in and out of the home, and he has done well previously with other dogs and children. We have not tested him with cats. Howard has been known to guard his resources, so feeding separately from other animals and watching him carefully with toys and coveted items will be essential. This is an all-around great dog who will really make his future family happy.

Story
Axton is the first dog to say "hello" at Little Victories. He is a big excitable boy who loves people and getting lots of pets and affection. He is a very fun dog who will have loads of spunk for his future family to teach him new things! He does struggle with reactivity toward other dogs and moving objects and is big and strong. With a proper outlet for his high-drive personality, Axton will shine! He is very food motivated! He plays very well with most other dogs and has quickly become one of our best helpers for assessing new pups and their temperaments. The best kind of home for Axton: We highly recommend Axton go to a home willing to work with him on basic structure and give him an outlet for his drive. He is very reactive in the shelter environment and would benefit from professional training. His future family should be able to handle a very large, reactive dog. Axton does not love neighborhood walks in an overstimulating environment. He would be more fulfilled on a long hike or in a less stimulating environment. He must meet any other dogs in the home before adoption and should only live with older kids who can handle a boisterous dog of his size. Axton would be a very fun dog for anyone willing to put in some time harnessing his energy into a constructive outlet that builds the relationship between handler and dog!

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Mishka is the sweetest, silliest girl we know! She could take home the Oscar for best actress -- typical husky! But we love her goofy, dramatic antics. She was found on the side of the road in miserable condition, but after surgery to remove a mammory tumor, dental work, and some TLC, Mishka is feeling much better. This girl just wants to be wherever the people are. She stays very clean in her kennel and will make an excellent dog for her future family.  The best kind of home for Mishka: Mishka should have no trouble fitting right into her adoptive family. She is very neutral with other dogs but has not been tested with cats. Mishka has never met a stranger and should do well with children of all ages. She is an easy-going girl who we suspect spent her early years being overbred. Mishka is looking for a place to rest for the rest of her long, healthy life.

Story
I rescued Kyra from a kill shelter in SC. She was going to be put down if I didnt act right away. She walks good on a leash, and goes potty quickly. Will let you know when she has to go. Recommend fenced yard as shes pretty stubborn with learning commands and runs off. Not tested with kids because I dont have any. She now does well with my cat, who sometimes rubs against her. Shes small for husky, only about 45lbs and very chill, will sleep most of the day. Takes a while to warm up to new people but shes very loveable and will follow you everywhere/sit with you once she does. She loves tennis balls and will entertain herself with one, but loves for you to throw it for her. I have lots of info of her traits and character to share with interested parties. Im rehoming because I am diabetic and cant walk her on a leash as often as she needs. My other 2 dogs are off leash trained and so far shes been reluctant to learn the same, which is crucial for my health and theirs. Thanks
