Story
This girl is up for anything! Whether you are lounging on the couch or heading out for a run, Silverspoon will be right there with you, keeping pace and her love for life. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and has impeccable leash manners, making her a breeze to take on walks. She is gentle, loves kids, and gets along well with both small and large dogs. One of her favorite things to do is stop and smell everything on her walks-her curiosity is endless. This easy going cuddle loving girl is as laid back as they come. She is ready to be the pawfect addition to any family. She was transported to us from El Paso, Tx. Update from foster family: Silverspoon saw snow for the first time ever! Silverspoon is easy to love She always happy, loves to make new people and dog friends, and has excellent leash manners. She's done super well in public spaces including breweries and coffee shops. We think she'd do well in an apartment since she's not a barker and is chill around the house. Silverspoon comes alive when out on the trail, and deserves a family who will appreciate her lovely smooches and take her on all the adventures.

Story
Meet Freddie, the charming 3-year-and-8-month-old husky who's ready to embark on his next big adventure! Freddie spent over 200 days at the Yakima Humane Society, where he made quite a name for himself as the ultimate dog buddy—so much so that he became the go-to guy for testing the compatibility of other shelter dogs. Weighing in at 61 lbs, Freddie is a handsome fellow with a striking blue eye and a warm brown one. He’s wonderfully kid-friendly and has a laid-back, quiet demeanor—not your typical chatty husky. While he knows how to sit, Freddie has the classic husky streak of independence, making him a delightful mix of smarts and stubbornness. He’s crate-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines, making him ready for his forever home. However, Freddie’s curiosity around cats means he’s looking for a cat-free household. If you’re seeking a loyal, friendly, and unique companion, Freddie might just be your perfect match!

Hi, my name is Hobart and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jul 11, 2023. All my friends say that I`m pretty affectionate and if that means I like getting pets and having my paw held, that`s definitely true! When I`m not being a love-bug, I love going on casual walks where I can sniff the breeze and feel the sun on my fur. I can`t wait to add a lot of cuddle time to your routine!

Story
We’ve had our puppy for 2 months after rescuing him from a friend of a friend who wasn’t properly caring for his litter. He’s currently 4 months old and will turn 5 months in late December. As first-time pet parents, we’ve done our best to give him a loving home, but due to financial and time constraints, we can no longer provide the care he deserves. He’s a brown Husky with tan and white paws and eyebrows, full of energy, curiosity, and sweetness. He’s food-motivated, playful, and shy at first, but warms up quickly to become an affectionate companion. He loves to play and has even learned a playful growl during our interactions. He’s crate-trained and eats in his crate, showing great progress with training. We’re seeking an experienced family familiar with high-energy breeds like Huskies, who can offer him the love, attention, and stability he needs to thrive. Our priority is finding a forever home where he’ll be truly cared for and loved.

Story
Looking for a home for Scruffy. He is roughly 5 years old (unknown birthday, he was a rescue). We are looking for a new home for him as I am pregnant and Scruffy doesn't do well with little kids. He does well with other dogs, but he doesnt do well with cats or other small animals as he has a high prey drive. He likes to wander like huskies do so a fenced yard is highly recommended. We would be happy to do a trial to see if he is a fit for you

Story
`Meet Grady, the lovable husky with a heart of gold! This dashing boy is as handsome as they come, and his sweet personality matches his good looks. Grady is potty trained and will let you know when its time for a bathroom break a true gentleman! While hes perfectly content to relax in his crate with the door open, locking it up? Thats a big nope from him! (Honestly, who likes being locked in anyway?)For a husky, Grady is impressively mellow. But don`t be fooled he still gets those classic husky zoomies and loves his walks to burn off energy. He`s got the smarts too! Grady is all about the treats and will gladly show off his skills by sitting on command and giving you his paw. When it comes to affection, Grady is a total cuddle bug. The moment you reach out to pet him, hes on his back, belly up, ready for rubs his idea of pure bliss! And heres a fun story: one day, my jacket made an unexpected appearance, and poor Grady got a bit spooked. But did that stop him from heroically defending us from that suspicious fabric invader? Absolutely not! He mustered up his courage and showed us just how brave and protective he can be.Grady is the perfect mix of goofy, loving, and loyal. He`s ready to bring endless smiles and tail wags to his forever family. Are you the one he`s been waiting for? `

Story
Hi! My name is Cheer and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on December 5th with my best friend Bliss (A721007)! Bliss and I are a bonded pair. I`m not a fan of being away from her so being adopted together would be best for us.I weigh 46 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog. Though i`m not yet at my full weight and height.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! Though I do take most of my cues from Bliss, so it takes me a little while to start loving on you.I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. I love to play with Bliss and in the yard.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend! You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Story
We are a newlywed couple who adopted Blaze from the Seattle Animal Shelter in mid September. Right now, we live in a house with a closed fence yard. Unfortunately due to my husband's work, we need to relocate, to an apartment. It isn't fair for us to keep him as much as we would want to, our property contract has listed "akitas" as a restricted breed. It also would not let us have renter's insurance due to his breed. We love him to death, but our current financial circumstance also doesn't allow us to live in a house. He's an awesome dog. I'm a stay at home wife, so he's with me all day everyday. He's very reactive at walks and has separation anxiety. He is potty and house trained. He knows some commands like sit, stay, down, his name, come, etc. He loves his pets, toys and treats. He would be excellent with someone without small children, a solo pet. He does not like other animals. Only for those who are experienced with this breed and knows responsibility that goes with it.
