Story
Tula is a very sweet 2 year old. She loves snuggles and cuddles. She is great with our kids, best friends with our other dog and cuddles with our barn cats. She is house trained and crate trained. She does well at the dog park and has good recall off leash on hiking trails. Unfortunately, she has killed a bunch of our chickens over the year. She is in need of a family to love her as much as we do. She just needs to not be around any chickens.

Story
Dingo is a big boy with energy befitting a young Husky mix. He`s also got a lot of love to give. Dingo needs a little time for his personality to really show when you first meet him, the shelter can be a stressful place for young pups! But after just 10 or 15 minutes and a bit of patience his happy, friendly personality come out. He loves to play ball, especially the slightly bigger balls that we have in the yard that you can kick. After spending some time just getting to know him, we started on some training and he`s quick to pick up the basics and loves the attention he gets for doing a good job. He`ll need to keep up on that training to become the best boy he can be. He is not a match for a household with small dogs or cats.

Story
My son adopted this beautiful gal several months ago. He has since started a very hectic job and is never home. Nova is a doll. She loves playing fetch and playing with her ball. She is crated at night and does pretty well with it. She has been great with the little kids. She does need a little time on training on a leash as she likes to pull a bit. Really want her to go to a great home with someone who has the time to devote to her. We do not want to see her in a shelter.

Kenai is a loving, six year old husky/shepherd mix who is looking for a new home because his owner unfortunately passed away. He is super sweet and loves everyone he meets. He gets along with other dogs but would prefer a home without cats or young children, as they tend to overwhelm him. He could be a great hiking buddy or a content as a couch potato! Adoption fee : $ 250 If you are interested in adopting Kenai, fill out an adoption application or foster form via our website www.whidbeycritters.com

Story
Sachi was recently rehomed due to her owner being gone for long hours each day. The new family she was rehomed to has discovered she has quite a bit of food aggression. They believe this is because in her previous home she would go a couple meals without eating due to the owner being gone. In all other settings Sachi is great with other dogs playing and getting along with them. Sachi enjoys going to the dog park, snuggling with the family on the couch, and would love someone active that could take her along with them! Sachi is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped. Fill out an adoption application on our website, www.whidbeycritters.com or call with any questions at 360-341-1456.
