Story
Cosmo is a very sweet and loving boy. He loves fetch and chewing bones. He must be the only dog or have significant training. Cosmo was abandoned in the park near our home. We took him in when the temp started to drop. He was in very bad shape, infested with fleas and mange, missing half his hair, and starving. Animal control was going to put him down and we made the decision to try to keep him. He has had a full medical work up, shots and is now neutered. Sadly, he has begun to have issues with our other young male dog. He has bitten him on the ears and neck, he is very possessive over toys and anything he thinks he owns. It is very sudden. We have to keep him muzzled or separated and closely supervise any time they are in the same room. This is not sustainable for us long term. We are looking to rehome him with to someone ready for a high energy, young dog full of love. Cosmo needs some training on manners but is very smart and catches on quickly. He would be a great hiking partner!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ME, MISTO! I am a young (about a year) husky mix recently rescued from a crowded California shelter. I was terrified there, but after a few days, my sunshine personality came out! I'm a loving, dog-friendly boy who would do well with another dog in the home, or as an only dog, too. I love to play and am happy! Change is a bit scary for me so I would do well with both a patient and active person, who could take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I have the most beautiful blue eyes, and I weigh about 50 lbs. Please email for an application! I currently need a foster or forever home.

I'm a young boy with a lot of potential: I am friendly, playful, smart, curious and athletic! I am affectionate and will give kisses once I get to know you. I love treats and food in general. I also enjoy human attention and affection. I would do well with an active single person or couple who are active, and who love to go for walks, hikes and other outings. MEET WINTER! Winter is a gorgeous 4-year-old Husky-Shepherd mix in need of a forever home. He was rescued from a very high-kill shelter in California, in the nick of time. He's great with dogs and people, though can be a little shy at first. He would thrive with an active person or people who can take him for hikes, long walks and other outings. He's got beautiful blue eyes. Winter weighs about 60 lbs. currently. Please email for an application.

Scarlett is a sweet girl, I am sad to have to let her go but unfortunately with divorce and moving to another state I can't keep her. She is very happy she has so much joy, she does still need some training as she is a Husky and it comes with the breed. She is currently kennel trained and house trained she doesn't like food or water in her kennel, she's got an attitude of a toddler and if you do put food or water in the kennel she will tip them over while looking at you. She is goofy and she loves children she loves playing fetch but still doesn't get the concept of giving you the toy back, she will retrieve it and come to you but instead she will play tug-a-war until you give her the command to drop it. She sits and sits pretty if you have a treat ready! She will take claim to all comfy blankets and bean bags if you have them near. She is such a happy little dog, it makes me sad to have to get rid of her but I wish for her to go to a good home one that will love her unconditionally.

He is great with everyone he meets including kids. Whiskey would love to be the only apple of your eye and be an only dog. He is also untested with cats but we suspect he would do best in a cat free home also.    Sadly Whiskey is losing his home and needs to find a new forever home.
