Story
Everest Junie, affectionately known as “EJ,” has come such a long way in her journey and is now thriving in a loving foster home with two other dogs. This special girl is resilient, loyal, and incredibly sweet. She’s about 1 year old, weighs 40 pounds, and is believed to be a Husky mix, although in rescue exact age and breed are unknown and cannot be guaranteed. WATCH EJ's sweetness! https://youtu.be/t1duDI4IOx0 EJ is fully potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a new home. She loves her foster doggie siblings and will need a home with at least one other dog, as they are her biggest source of comfort and confidence. When she’s feeling anxious, EJ has the cutest habit of sitting on top of her doggy friends to feel safe. Playing in the backyard, she’s full of silly energy and moves like a baby fox (and kind of looks like one too)! EJ’s perfect home has a fenced yard, at least one other dog, and a calm and patient environment where she can truly blossom. EJ has made amazing progress with her confidence and now seeks out love and attention from her people. She will need a family who understands that she’s still learning to trust and might need a little extra decompression time in her new home. After all, EJ was found on the streets with her mom, begging at a restaurant for pizza. She has grown tremendously in her time at the rescue and now with her foster family, where has learned the comforts of a soft bed, ice cream and beef jerky, and squeaky toys. She is extremely food motivated and will happily do most anything for a treat. She is also a total cuddle bug and loves crawling into bed with her humans for some snuggling. She adores pets on the face, neck, and tummy, and has the cutest yawn “reflex” when her head is rubbed. At the rescue, she has spent time with children as young as 3. She did well with these dog-savvy and respectful little ones. If you’re looking for a sweet, quirky, and loyal companion, EJ might just be the perfect addition to your pack. She’s ready to find her forever family and share all the love she has to give. We are willing to test EJ with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you. If you have any questions about her, her situation or her needs, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, who would be thrilled to have a discussion with you about this beautiful girl. Our behavior team is also ready to have an in-depth discussion about EJ’s behavioral needs with her forever family. Please email jessicak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
This dreamy fluffy boy is named Marshall Cooper. Marshall is a handsome, sweet boy that adores other dogs, treats, and squeaky toys. He’s destined to be a valued family member. His foster family brags that he’s great with kids, and knows how to sit on command! He’s a perfect family dog, perfect work from home companion, perfect playmate for your dog. Marshall is a big boy, 68 pounds of fluff, sunshine and good vibes. We think he may be a Husky, Malamute mix, but he is a rescue so these are just our best guesses. Marshall is currently estimated to be around 2 years old, the perfect age to value a snuggle as much as a backyard play sesh. Fall in love with Marshall here: https://youtu.be/ky94iyUufGM?si=wktFlBLB6dPqhYIh Beloved by his foster family, Marshall currently resides in a home with other dogs and does well with them! He enjoys playing in the yard with his 45 pound male foster sibling. His foster family brags that he’s great with kids that he meets on walks and excursions, he knows how to sit on command, and knows how to get into his kennel on command. They boast his great house manners, and potty-trained status. Treats are the way to his heart, his foster family says, and he will work for them! Marshall is food motivated, which will make further training enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Here at the rescue, Marshall showed off his canine social skills, doing great with every dog he met. He has a bouncy and fun playstyle that encourages other dogs to play chase with him. We think he would do well in a home with other medium energy dogs. Marshall does well on leash, he could use a tiny bit of polishing but he has a great basic understanding of leash manners. He’s also a very confident walker, not afraid of stairs or tight spaces on leash. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy that will impress you in the woods, Marshall is your guy! Marshall is great in the car, and confident and friendly with strangers. Taking him out and about will be a pleasure. Take this cutie to the park and watch him steal hearts. Marshall is affectionate and engaged at times, but also content to do is own thing. He doesn’t mind occupying himself with a toy for a while, taking a nap by himself, or simply meandering around and taking in all the sniffs. He would be a perfect work from home companion! Marshall Cooper’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to keep him company, and lots of treats to munch on. We do recommend a kitty-free home for Marshall! He could be an only-dog, or doggy-siblings with a medium energy dog that doesn’t mind some backyard play time. With any questions, please reach out to his adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Marshall with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Story
This blue eyed cutie is named Koda. Koda is easily a top contender for “best dog ever.” He currently lives in a foster home alongside three cats and multiple other dogs, where he regularly hangs out with kids aged 4 and 5! He’s a perfect boy, ready to become a great family dog. Koda is estimated to be just under 1 year old, and he currently weighs in around 45 pounds. We think Koda is a Husky mix of some sort, but he is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. Watch Koda here: https://youtu.be/Myop2Zbpp7s?si=8twPkkqAxuBEGS2Q Koda is a true lovebug, a connoisseur of the couch snuggle and an avid kisser. Koda is affectionate with everyone he meets, but not too pushy about it. He doesn’t invade your space until he’s invited to. Here at the rescue, Koda has shown great canine social skills! He would love to live in a home with another playful dog to keep him company. He has a fun and enthusiastic playstyle that gets the other dogs going, he can be a little shy with dogs at first but once he feels invited to play- it’s game on. He loves to zoom around the yard with the other dogs, and shares treats and affection well. Koda is currently fostered in a home with other dogs and 3 indoor cats, and does well with them. Here at the rescue, Koda was cat tested and we believe him to be cat-tolerant, capable of living with dog-savvy cats. See his cat test for yourself in his video! Koda’s foster mom says he’s easy on leash, and loves to take him to the park. She reports that he’s not big on toys, but loves nylabones. She brags that he has great house manners, and has never had an accident indoors at her house! Koda has spent time with kids aged 4 and 5, and he was respectful and gentle with them. We think he would make an awesome family dog! Koda’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to snuggle. He could live with dogs, dog-savvy cats, and/or kids! Story
Look closely and on top of his perfect Husky face, he has the cutest set of ears! This is Jango and he is such a fun version of his perceived breed, which based on his appearance, we would say he is a husky mix. Although huskies can sometimes be considered aloof and detached, that is not the case for Jango. He is a loving, playful, free-spirit, who gives gentle kisses, loves being on the couch, and gets along well with other dogs. Plus, he LOVES toys! From fetch to tug-of-war, he lights up at the chance to play! Take a look then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/qyRRZoyhP0w In rescue age and breed are not something we can guarantee but he is estimated to be two years old and embodies so many husky features. Jango weighs 50 lbs, a healthy weight for a fully-grown husky. He does have a long set of legs so can look a bit taller than average. Plus, he lives alongside an extra short-legged miniature dachshund which only highlights his height. His foster family has shared that Jango is confident, friendly, and truly easy company! He would love a home with a yard for exploring and although we haven’t heard his husky-song, a little space is always encouraged with the Jango types. We introduced Jango to a handful of dogs, a variety of sizes and temperaments and he is dog-friendly. His most natural connection was with a playful female. Jango could easily be a companion for your existing dog but his confident, independent nature would be perfectly suited for only-dog life just as well. As previously mentioned, Jango does live with a small dog in his foster home so dogs of all size are welcome playmates and companions. Jangos foster family has shared that he is both house and crate trained. Once he is home he will need an intro to his home and a tour of the appropriate potty places but Jango is a smart boy and will make you so proud! He has solid leash skills as well so walks, whether for a potty break or exercise will be enjoyable for you both. Plus, being smart and treat motivated will make continued training and/or just some fun tricks, an equally enjoyable effort. Adopt Jango today and get started making amazing memories and enjoying all the laughs he brings. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6758a41cfb87b964e10092de Questions? You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Meet Penny LIverpool! She is currently 5 months old, and we think she may be a Husky/Pit Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Penny's latest video from her foster here: This gorgeous girl will wiggle waggle her way into your heart with every wag of her happy tail (and that's a lot). Penny is an amazing mahogany red in colour, with stunning white accents - she is sure to create a lot of double-takes simply because she's so striking! But it's Penny's affectionate and gentle nature that will truly capture your heart. Penny loves treats, all kinds of treats, and is unusually gentle when taking them from you. We know that puppies and dogs that are treat-motivated are that much easier to train, and we can already see how clever Penny is. Even when she's playful and excited, Penny is careful to be soft and sweet, and it's quite endearing. We love her kind and joyful nature, and her enthusiasm for treats, toys, and affection is so contagious! Penny is currently in a loving and experienced foster home with her siblings and loves to play and snuggle. She's ready for her forever home that has a soft and fluffy dog bed ready for her and an endless supply of both treats and toys - could that be with you? Penny is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/676d73aed09034a02507e0ae Please email Tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Riley is a high energy dog that is very protective and has been described as a bit of a diva in our local dog group. She is extremely affectionate and loves to have your undivided attention whenever she sees fit. Riley does great around most other dogs and loves to socialize at the dog park with her friends. We acquired Riley from some neighbors that had an unplanned litter and did not have the space to take care of them. Riley is two years old, housetrained, and with a confident owner has been very trainable if only a little strong willed.

Story
I first met Pepper in Bow/Alger, Washington, living on a country property. Pepper was a stray that fell in love with a male mixed breed puppy I had for my sick son, Siddhartha aka Sid. So I fed her and they became close and had a litter of puppies. I then got her fixed. I have had them since, for about 9 years. I am being forced to move and cannot find another home that I can afford. I will keep them in my travel Motorhome for as long as it takes for my buddies to find the right home. They have traveled across the country living for a few years in Key West, Fl. and now back here in Bellingham, Washington. Thank you for your understanding that both come as a package/together. I am over 70 years old and am only on social security and cannot afford to take care of my truly great friends. They love everybody and all other animals. They are a real Walt Disney Movie. I believe one will be so grateful to have their love and attention. They are great watch dogs and will alert with love.

Story
Dingo is a big boy with energy befitting a 9 month old Husky mix. He`s also got a lot of love to give. Dingo needs a little time for his personality to really show when you first meet him, the shelter can be a stressful place for young pups! But after just 10 or 15 minutes and a bit of patience his happy, friendly personality come out. He loves to play ball, especially the slightly bigger balls that we have in the yard that you can kick. After spending some time just getting to know him, we started on some training and he`s quick to pick up the basics and loves the attention he gets for doing a good job. He`ll need to keep up on that training to become the best boy he can be. He is not a match for a household with small dogs or cats.

Story
This sweet young husky is stunning. She is well behaved (for a husky puppy), gets along with other dogs and kids, and enjoys going for walks. She has a solid start on her training and will need that continued. She loves to chase but not fetch balls. She is hyper when first taken from her kennel, but that is to be expected. She is crate trained and potty trained.

Story
Tulie is a bouncy, happy and loving floofy best friend type, looking for love! She’s a perfect adventure dog, with leash skills and sociability that will make any outing more enjoyable with her by your side. She’s confident and athletic enough for the most treacherous hike, but soft and sweet enough to enjoy hours and hours of couch snuggles. She’s well suited for family dog life with older kids, and amazing with other dogs. She’s a husky lover’s dream and she’s available for adoption! Tulie currently weighs in at a lap sized 42 pounds, and we believe her to be an Husky, Chow Chow mix. She is a rescue- so these are just our best guesses. Tulie is estimated to be around 2 years old- still young and trainable, but past the terrors of puppyhood. Meet Tulie here: https://youtu.be/RVW96UOVm1A?feature=shared Tulie is best described as a moderate energy girl- she has the stamina to accompany you wherever you’d like to go, but she has a softness to her that makes quiet nights in enjoyable as well. She’s respectful and friendly with everyone she meets, she keeps all four paws on the floor and soaks up attention with gratitude and a big smile. Tulie is described by those who know her best as “obedient” and “adaptable.” She’s ready to fit right into any Husky lover’s home. Tulie is amazing with other dogs, and could do well in a multi-dog household, or as a solo dog. She has a bouncy, happy, enthusiastic play style with other dogs. She shares affection, attention and treats well with other dogs. Here at the rescue, Tulie was tested with kids and we found that she does great with kids over ten! Tulie has great house manners too, she’s very respectful of furniture and her surroundings. She would make a perfect family dog! Tulie’s favorite things are other dogs, outside time, and the swimming pool. She loves toys and treats too! Tulie is polite when she takes treats, and food motivated, making further training enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Tulie is ready for life as your best friend. This perfect floofy pup is well-suited for family dog life, life as a member of the pack, or life as your only child! Adaptable and adorable! We are willing to test Tulie with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Clifford the big red dog is mostly Chow. He weighs around 70 pounds and is estimated to now be around 3 years old. Clifford was dumped on the side of a rural road with a litter of puppies and was rescued by good Samaritans. Clifford is a super wonderful dog. He is sweet, gentle, and good-natured. He especially loves puppies, small dogs, and gentle children. We do not know how he would do with cats. Clifford is a very good boy. He is crate-trained, sits on command, and walks well on a leash. It is extremely hot here in Texas and Clifford is happy to be in his crate inside the air-conditioned house. We are working on housetraining (teaching him that just because the little dogs pee in the house does not mean that he can). Clifford could probably use other gentle obedience training. Clifford rides well in a vehicle but is a bit nervous about getting into the vehicle. He is shy with new people (especially men) and takes some time to trust. Clifford is sensitive and will hide from angry voices, rough treatment, and mean dogs. We are sure he was not treated well by whoever had him before. Clifford needs to be treated gently so he will trust you. Once he trusts you or another dog, he becomes happy and playful. Clifford deserves a wonderful home. He must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a fenced yard to run and play. Clifford is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Clifford has been treated for heartworms and is now heartworm-free. He receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Clifford is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. His adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Kent, Arlington, or Bellingham WA. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this gentle boy.
