Story
Sapphire is a beautiful 5 year old Siberian Husky who needs to have a home with no other pets if possible. She does fine with passing dogs on a walk but doesn't do well if forced to interact. Cats are fun to chase so probably not the dog for someone who has cats but she's great with children. She's house trained and is a lover. Her owner is unable to care for her anymore so she is with friends but has to stay separated due to her inability to socialize with other dogs. She will need spayed and that amount is included in her adoption donation of $250. Please complete an application if you'd like to meet her.November 5, 2024, 12:47 pm

Honey is such a special pup! She was a byb dog who was sold at 7 mo old with no socialization with people of pets. She has come so far!! She is looking for a husky savvy home with a 6’ fence. She love to play with toys and fetch, and almost bring the ball back ❤️ She is not an apt dog. She needs a house with a yard and humans who are willing to put in the bonding time. Once she decides you are awesome, she loves you forever. If you are interest in Honey, please fill out our application ! She is so ready for her forever ❤️

Story
Miss Jamie here is a work in progress. She came to us after a wonderful human brought her to our attention out in Toutle, WA. She had been running at large with 2 other huskies, one which was caught several weeks before, and the third hasn't been seen in weeks. We sent a trap up to the property owner and she trapped that night. She has been here ever since. She is still in an "almost feral" state right now and is learning how to dog. She loves other dogs! She is just afraid of humans. She is highly trainable and is responding well to positive reinforcement training. She will be a wonderful addition to a family with another dog. She is currently available for adoption, but will require a patient family. While we search for her forever, we are working on training and giving her the best life available. If you are interested in Jamie, please fill out an application on our website at https://bit.ly/pawdadopt

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Here's what you need to know about me:It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along. My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they have to say about me:Malachi is super chill for being a husky, he doesn't really bark or whine without reason. He does do some cute little "awoos" when you get home or when he's excited. He gets along really well with our dogs and loves to play chase. He's done really well with our free roam rabbit as well, he's shown no signs of aggression towards him - he just wants to chase. We think he'll do well with children, but might be too much for smaller children as he can be a little bit overwhelming when he's excited. He's very sweet and loves to lay with us and sleep in our bed at night. He's really a great dog and just needs some work with basic training and leash manners, but he's food motivated and willing to learn!I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 69.3125 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me: Winnie's a total sweetheart who has puppy energy hiding underneath her extra weight. She would love to go to a home where she can get moderate, frequent exercise--she loves running together on the leash! She likes head massages, hide-and-seek, and carrots, and she lets you know if you're late for bedtime. "Please let me sleep on the bed with you!", she says.I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a home without any cats or other small animals. I chase them and it's not safe for me to share my home or space with them.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. My adoption fee is $200 Here's what you need to know about me:My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:"Snickers is an intelligent young dog that is looking for her best friend to explore the world. She is nervous of new things first as she has not been exposed to many adventures yet, and will need someone who will let her take things at her pace. In her foster home, she has discovered dog toy boxes and playing with other dogs is a great way to spend her time. She enjoys going for walks but is a little wary of loud vehicles and strangers. She is a very sweet dog that just needs to trust someone with her love. Can you help her discover her best life?"It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them.I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home!
