Story
Tula is a very sweet 2 year old. She loves snuggles and cuddles. She is great with our kids, best friends with our other dog and cuddles with our barn cats. She is house trained and crate trained. She does well at the dog park and has good recall off leash on hiking trails. Unfortunately, she has killed a bunch of our chickens over the year. She is in need of a family to love her as much as we do. She just needs to not be around any chickens.

Story
Riley is a high energy dog that is very protective and has been described as a bit of a diva in our local dog group. She is extremely affectionate and loves to have your undivided attention whenever she sees fit. Riley does great around most other dogs and loves to socialize at the dog park with her friends. We acquired Riley from some neighbors that had an unplanned litter and did not have the space to take care of them. Riley is two years old, housetrained, and with a confident owner has been very trainable if only a little strong willed.

Story
I first met Pepper in Bow/Alger, Washington, living on a country property. Pepper was a stray that fell in love with a male mixed breed puppy I had for my sick son, Siddhartha aka Sid. So I fed her and they became close and had a litter of puppies. I then got her fixed. I have had them since, for about 9 years. I am being forced to move and cannot find another home that I can afford. I will keep them in my travel Motorhome for as long as it takes for my buddies to find the right home. They have traveled across the country living for a few years in Key West, Fl. and now back here in Bellingham, Washington. Thank you for your understanding that both come as a package/together. I am over 70 years old and am only on social security and cannot afford to take care of my truly great friends. They love everybody and all other animals. They are a real Walt Disney Movie. I believe one will be so grateful to have their love and attention. They are great watch dogs and will alert with love.

Story
Everest Junie, affectionately known as “EJ,” is a soft, sweet and loyal girl. She’s a total rescue favorite- cherished by all who have had to opportunity to be a part of her story. If “rescued” is your favorite breed, pizza is your favorite food, you can appreciate a good long lazy morning snuggle, and you consistently find stale dog treats in your pockets… you and EJ are surely a match made in heaven. EJ is estimated to be around 1 year and 2 months old. She currently tips the scales at a perfectly lap-sized 40 pounds, which is lucky because her favorite place to be is her foster mom’s lap. We think she may be a Husky, Lab mix but she is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. WATCH EJ's sweetness! https://youtu.be/t1duDI4IOx0 Resistant, loyal and incredibly sweet- EJ is everything you could want in a rescue dog like herself. She has a huge and grateful heart, patience and love have allowed her to blossom in such a wonderfully worth-it way. A uniquely sweet rescue story, EJ came to us begging for her favorite food, pizza! She was found alongside her gorgeous Husky mother, who has since been adopted. EJ was initially very shy with us, she didn’t appreciate touch but is very, very tolerant of it. She never showed aggression, and while she didn’t necessarily want our love at first, she did seem to understand that it was indeed LOVE. Now, EJ has come such a long way in her journey and is absolutely thriving in a loving foster home with her foster pawrents, their teenage daughter, and two other dogs. In her foster home, EJ has shown that with patience and trust-building, she comes out of her shell entirely. She’s a total lovebug in her foster home, napping in bed with her foster parents, snuggling and playing with toys with her humans. Her foster parents advocate that she is fully potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to their home. She loves her foster doggie siblings and will need a home with at least one other dog, as they are her biggest source of comfort and confidence. When she’s feeling anxious, EJ has the cutest habit of sitting on top of her doggy friends to feel safe. Playing in the backyard, she’s full of silly energy and moves like a baby fox (and kind of looks like one too)! Here at the rescue, EJ is amazing with every dog she meets, tolerant of rough and rowdy players and pushy puppies. She loves playful dogs!! EJ is so amazing with other dogs that she has been routinely used as an assessment dog, meaning that she greets new intake dogs, teaches the dog that the rescue is a fun and safe place to be, and teaches us about the new dog’s canine-to-canine sociability. As an assessment dog, she has saved hundreds of doggy lives- Everest Junie is such an inspirational, innocent and perfect pup. EJ’s perfect home has a fenced yard, at least one other dog, and a calm and patient environment where she can truly blossom. EJ has made amazing progress with her confidence and now seeks out love and attention from her people, but will likely still need some trust-building decompression time with her forever family. She has grown tremendously in her time at the rescue and now with her foster family, where has learned the comforts of a soft bed, ice cream and beef jerky, and squeaky toys. She is extremely food motivated and will happily do most anything for a treat. She adores pets on the face, neck, and tummy, and has the cutest yawn “reflex” when her head is rubbed. At the rescue, she has spent time with children as young as 3. She did well with these dog-savvy and respectful little ones. If you’re looking for a sweet, quirky, and loyal companion, EJ might just be the perfect addition to your pack. She’s ready to find her forever family and share all the love she has to give. We are willing to test EJ with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you. If you have any questions about her, her situation or her needs, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, who would be thrilled to have a discussion with you about this beautiful girl. Our behavior team is also ready to have an in-depth discussion about EJ’s behavioral needs with her forever family. Please email jessicak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
This dreamy fluffy boy is named Marshall Cooper. Marshall is a handsome, sweet boy that adores other dogs, treats, and squeaky toys. He’s destined to be a valued family member. His foster family brags that he’s great with kids, and knows how to sit on command! He’s a perfect family dog, perfect work from home companion, perfect playmate for your dog. Marshall is a big boy, 68 pounds of fluff, sunshine and good vibes. We think he may be a Husky, Malamute mix, but he is a rescue so these are just our best guesses. Marshall is currently estimated to be around 2 years old, the perfect age to value a snuggle as much as a backyard play sesh. Fall in love with Marshall here: https://youtu.be/ky94iyUufGM?si=wktFlBLB6dPqhYIh Beloved by his foster family, Marshall currently resides in a home with other dogs and does well with them! He enjoys playing in the yard with his 45 pound male foster sibling. His foster family brags that he’s great with kids that he meets on walks and excursions, he knows how to sit on command, and knows how to get into his kennel on command. They boast his great house manners, and potty-trained status. Treats are the way to his heart, his foster family says, and he will work for them! Marshall is food motivated, which will make further training enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Here at the rescue, Marshall showed off his canine social skills, doing great with every dog he met. He has a bouncy and fun playstyle that encourages other dogs to play chase with him. We think he would do well in a home with other medium energy dogs. Marshall does well on leash, he could use a tiny bit of polishing but he has a great basic understanding of leash manners. He’s also a very confident walker, not afraid of stairs or tight spaces on leash. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy that will impress you in the woods, Marshall is your guy! Marshall is great in the car, and confident and friendly with strangers. Taking him out and about will be a pleasure. Take this cutie to the park and watch him steal hearts. Marshall is affectionate and engaged at times, but also content to do is own thing. He doesn’t mind occupying himself with a toy for a while, taking a nap by himself, or simply meandering around and taking in all the sniffs. He would be a perfect work from home companion! Marshall Cooper’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to keep him company, and lots of treats to munch on. We do recommend a kitty-free home for Marshall! He could be an only-dog, or doggy-siblings with a medium energy dog that doesn’t mind some backyard play time. With any questions, please reach out to his adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Marshall with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Meet Prudence LIverpool! She is currently almost 38 pounds, 5 months old, and we think she may be a Husky/Pit Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Prudence 's video here: Prudence Liverpool is full of love and licks, and she's more than ready to deliver them to YOU! Prue (as her fosters affectionately call her) is downright cuddly. This stunning girl is almost 30 pounds of sweet snuggly teddy bear, and we are here for every pound of it. No one can escape the love and affection of this adorable gentle girl! (We recommend sticking around for the full-face exfoliation that she is sure to give you - it's irresistible!) Prue thinks everyone she meets is her absolute bestie, and we can't disagree because everyone that sees her sweet face and waggy tail is soon subjected to her licks of love - she literally cannot keep her love in and just has to share it, lol. We adore her joyful and loving personality and think that Prue would be a wonderful and easy addition to any family. Prue is currently in a loving foster home with her sisters and is living her best puppy life with toys, treats, and snuggles galore. All she needs now is YOU! Prudence is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
