Although I am a husky mix, I don't do most of the naughty husky things that the others do. No fence jumping, digging, or running away. I do like to sing the song of my husky peeps at times, though, so I wouldn't be a great apartment dwelling dog. I have a genetic deformity in my back legs that makes it so I can’t be too active for too long. Short walks and mental stimulation games are good for me! I have been staying with a dog trainer for several months to work on my anxiety, socialization with other dogs, manners, and obedience skills. Not to toot my own horn too much, but I’m pretty pretty awesome now. I know many great commands and have really learned how to relax and not be so anxious. I am such a smart boy that is very excited to continue learning with you. I am fully house trained and great in my crate most of the time. I have pretty good house manners and love to hang out with my people and chew on a bone. I am really good with people, including kids. I do fine with cats and most other dogs. I like to be the only handsome boy in the house so I would prefer to live with a chill female dog. Hi there, my name is Crossbone but my friends call me Bones! Have you ever seen such a handsome face? Im a 9 1/2 year old Husky and I am everything you’d expect of a lovable mature companion. Can you tell that snow is my happy place? I absolutely love people and my favorite thing in the world is my run and walk time. Being a Husky I’d really do best in a home that can provide me the exercise and stimulation my breed requires. Don’t let my age fool you, I can run with the best of them. Afterwards I’d love some snuggle time, and don’t be surprised when I vocalize all my likes and dislikes in true Husky fashion! I’m potty trained, and while the crate isn’t my favorite place I will do OK in one. I’m a 60lb, 2 year old boy, bundle of SO many mixes ( Siberian Husky, Samoyed, American Staffordshire terrier…) I’m potty trained and walk super well on a leash. I LOVE going on walks, meal times, treats but can I be honest? I’m happiest when I’m getting snuggled- feeling loved and safe is the absolute best. My foster mom says I’m good-natured, silly and people-loving. I used to live in a shelter, and that was pretty lonely. Right now I live with my foster mom and TWO puppies! Playing with them is so fun, and I try to be very careful so I don’t hurt them, since they’re so small. I’ve also lived with dogs my size (male and female) and have played so well with them- I don’t think I should live with cats because they’re so fast and silly and I just want to chase them. My crate is SO fun- it’s especially fun to run away and hide when it’s time to get in… I’m working on it. IF you can find me and put me in my crate, I stay in there quietly and sleep through the night. I’m also working on not jumping like a maniac when I’m excited to see you… but I’m EXCITED to see you!! Real talk? I’ve never had a forever family before. I’ve been growing up in shelters and foster homes, and it’s kind of scary to get my hopes up… but here I am, hoping to have my very own home some day. Syrah is a 4 years old husky. She’s really good with adults and kids and is a great companion. She loves going on walks, play fetch, ball, and to keep you company. She’s potty trained and very clean. She loves toys. She hauls but not constantly like most huskies do, she’s smart and obedient. She does okay with big dogs but not good with small dogs or cats. We have small old dogs, they’ve been with us for many years and can’t keep her. I want to make sure she’s loved and going to a good home.
