Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Why hello there, handsome! Everyone, please meet Inari. His new years resolution is to find his new forever home. Can you help him? In return, he'll help you stick to your resolutions! He's more than happy to go on long walks and hikes with you - keep you active and healthy, and improve your mental health (dogs do that, you know!) He is a young guy at just over a year old and about 75lbs. Nearly GoT sized! Inari is a husky mix, but he doesn't do most of the naughty husky things that others do. No fence jumping, digging, or running away. He *does* like to sing the song of his husky peeps at times, tho, so he wouldn't be a great apartment dwelling dog.   Inari has been staying with a dog trainer for a couple of months to work on his socialization with other dogs, his manners, and his obedience skills. (lucky guy!!) He is such a smart boy that is very excited to learn with you. We have been introducing the ecollar to him to solidify his recall and he is loving it and doing so well. He is also fully house trained and great in his crate. He has pretty good house manners and loves to hang out with his people and chew on a bone. Inari is great with people, including kids, and most other dogs. He does the best with playful female dogs. He wants to be the only big handsome boy in the area, so he struggles with some other male dogs. If you think Inari could be the arctic adonis you've been looking for, apply to meet him today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 6, 2024, 12:47 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, I am Serena Joy and that's just what I am, a total joy! I am a red Husky with striking ice blue eyes and I am about a year old. I am around 55lbs and probably wont get much bigger than this. I took my "freedom ride" on a big packed transport van from New Mexico. There were a lot of other dogs lucky enough to make the trip with me. When my foster mom pulled me off the van she said most of the other dogs around me were very scared and shut down, but not me! I was so happy and excited I was being rescued that I was smiling at her. I have the best disposition!  I am a smart girl and am completely potty trained! Using a doggy door has never been a challenge for me. I love the doggy door because it means I get to go sit outside in the nice cold air, mmm my favorite! I love to be with my people but if the choice is being with my people in a hot house or sitting alone in a snowbank then I'm picking the snowbank! If you are into the winter sports then I am your gal! I have a very warm, thick and fluffy coat and boy is it so soft, everyone loves to pet me. I would love to go snowshoeing, sledding, or cross country skiing! Heck you could even train me to pull you on your skis. I love to get out and play and exercise but after some mental and physical stimulation I also enjoy chilling and being lazy. I love kids! and am very gentle with them even when they run around and squeal. I probably wouldn't do very well with cats though, I have shown that I am a little too curious in my neighbor bunnies. I love to play and wrestle with all of my foster siblings! I am respectful of anyone that doesn't want to play and I have good doggy manners when I am meeting new dogs. I don't resource guard but if another dog steals my toys or food I will squeaky bark at them in hopes that they will get so annoyed they will give it back. (It totally works, you should try it sometime). I will crate at night but I don't love to be in my crate during the day especially when all of the action is going on.  Occasionally I like to "borrow" things from around the house but when I am caught with my stolen merchandise I immediately return the it to the rightful owner when called. I like to use my paws like a cat when playing with my toys and if you try to take it away I will also bat your hand like a cat would. My foster mom has really enjoyed me and spent a lot of time working on my training. Lately we have been working on my off-leash recall and I am improving so much each week!  Apply to meet me at: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 6, 2024, 12:47 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for a mature, distinguished gentleman?  If so then I’m your guy.  Hi there, my name is Crossbone but my friends call me Bones! Have you ever seen such a handsome face?  Im a 9 1/2 year old Husky and I am everything you’d expect of a  lovable mature companion.  Can you tell that snow is my happy place?  I absolutely love people and my favorite thing in the world is my run and walk time.    Being a Husky I’d really do best in a home that can provide me the exercise and stimulation my breed requires.  Don’t let my age fool you, I can run with the best of them.  Afterwards I’d love some snuggle time, and don’t be surprised when I vocalize all my likes and dislikes in true Husky fashion!  I’m potty trained, and while the crate isn’t my favorite place I will do OK in one.  I’ve lived a long life successfully with many dogs but I do have a tendency to be protective of my food or treats so I’d prefer to live with either larger dogs who respect boundaries or no dogs.  My foster mom can fill you in on the details.  She also thinks that no other small animals (to include small dogs and cats) or small kids would be best.  If a handsome man like me is a good fit for your home, head on over to https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication and ask for Crossbone!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 6, 2024, 12:47 am

Got this beautiful girl about three years ago. She is turning 3 on December 5th. I love her to death. She was my first dog i have paid for and trained. I do want someone who will meet her energy and take her out and explore the world. Even though she is kennel trained( does complain about it) i would prefer her to not be kenneled all day and night. She is very vocal and will tell you when she needs something. She loves baby-bel cheese. Shes a goofy dog that loves to run wild and be loved.

Story
I am looking to rehome my 1 1/2 year old husky. His name is Voodoo and is a big lover. Voodoo is current on most shots (just received Spectra 10 multi shot** and have record of it) but does need his rabies updated which can be obtained prior to adoption. He is also unaltered. He gets along great with other dogs as well as kids. I am moving next month and don’t have the space or time he deserves so I’m hoping to find a family who does. I’d like to see the space/yard he would have to make sure he is going to a good home and the space he needs. Please let me know if you have any questions **Spectra 10 includes Canine Distemper, infections Canine Hepatitis, Canine Adenovirus Type 2 (CAV-2), Canine Coronavirus, Canine Parainfluenza, and Canine Parvovirus (CPV) Type 2b

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello I'm T.P! I know what you're thinking, she looks just like a bear cub! My foster mom thinks I am a Chow/Shiba Inu mix. I look just like a miniature Chow with a Shiba tail! I take time to warm up to people but once someone has put in the time to ear n my trust I am loving and loyal to them. These breeds are incredibly adorable and are  often adopted because of how cute they are without people truly understanding the breed. My foster mom (a dog trainer) has put together an impressive list of criteria to narrow down ALL the applications we are sure to receive for me! I am a 6 months old, female red Chow chow/Shiba Inu mix who currently weighs around 30lbs. I am very shy and need time to warm up to a person. When I do approach people, it needs to be my choice - which means no little kids. I'm looking for a very special home that can provide the following. - An experienced dog owner that has had chows/shiba's previously or someone who has really dedicated effort into learning about these two primitive breeds, is not a first time dog owner and is prepared to raise a mix of difficult dog breeds. T.P needs to be in a home where her person will know how to be reliable with providing structure and implementing management. She needs someone that will appreciate her traits but will tell her no when needed. - No other dogs in the house, she will do best being the only dog. - Time and Resources. T.P is a mix of tricky breeds that require an upkeep of structure, management and grooming so continuing training will be a must for her. T.P's foster mom has done great work with training and her potential adopters will need to be caught up to speed on what she knows and how to help her succeed in her new home. - Someone that is not going to allow for other dogs to invade her space and will advocate for her and work towards dog neutrality. She is not a dog that will enjoy people or other dogs getting into her space. - No children If you're interested in meeting T.P to see if she could be the perfect little fluffy companion for you, apply at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 6, 2024, 12:47 am
