Story
NEW ENGLAND ADOPTER/FOSTER-TO-ADOPT/FOSTER NEEDED Blue is 1 year old, female, Husky mix.  She weighs about 55 lbs.  She is house and crate trained.  Blue is good with cats and dogs.  When Blue came to Lifesavers her front paw had been injured for several months, supposedly run over by a vehicle.  Her leg had to be amputated, unfortunatlely but that hasn't slowed her down any.  This pet is currenlty in Texas but will be transporterd to New England. If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs, please complete our online adoption application:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/31747/generic For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/ We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $450.00 for adults and $550.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England!   ##2253305##

Story
Hunter aka “Hunt” is a Husky that we adopted in Idaho when we lived up North! He has been amazing to us and I love him but he does get territorial of the food bowl and water bowl and it isn’t the best scenario with two toddlers. We are looking for someone who is active and loves a big cuddly dog. Hunt loves going for as many walks a day as possible and ending the day with a good cuddle. He is super affectionate and sleeps at the foot of the bed whenever possible. He does prefer to go on walks off-leash so he can get all the smells. If you are looking for a new best friend feel free and reach out to meet Hunt!
