Story
Taz is a riot! He’s full of playful energy and likes to keep active. He’s always ready for fun, and he creates the fun himself if need be. He’s a big time toy lover, though he does have a short attention span with them. He’s still very much a puppy at heart which leads to all kinds of goofy behavior! He has what is now known as a smooth brain…meaning he doesn’t seem to have all that much going on between his ears, but he’s such a happy boy and always having so much fun that it doesn’t really matter. Taz is always excited to get out of his kennel and get some exercise. He seems to have an endless supply of energy, and only stops for pets every now and then.

Story
Finney is a bright and bubbly girl who knows how to make her own fun. She’s playful and energetic, but she’s also very smart and knows when it’s time to be calm. She loves nothing more than running around like a silly goose though! She’s a real toy lover. Fetch is a favorite of hers, but she’s also perfectly happy to play toys all by herself too! She doesn’t always sit on command for a treat, but she’s a pro at sitting when waiting for you to throw a toy. Toys are where her priorities lie. She likes to check out every one she comes across to figure out which one she actually wants to play with. Finney is very ladylike on leash, and walks without pulling. After getting rid of some excess energy she’s much calmer, and ready to settle down and be pet. She ranges from a medium to high energy level – just like her personality ranges from silly to smart! She’s done well meeting other dogs in shelter, and appreciates having friends to spend time with. She loves to run and play with other dogs, but when the toys come out she wants to play with them by herself without competition. We`ve learned from a previous foster home that she`s got great house manners and is already fully potty trained.

Story
This sweet boy was rescued off the cruel streets of Houston. He is super outgoing and enjoys being with people. He is creat trained, loves to go on car rides, walks well on a leash and ready for a home of his own! Beau is about 3 years old and up to date on his shots so he is healthy and ready for his new family. He does well with other dogs with proper introduction, of course. No kitties for this boy. This big hunk of a Siberian Husky would be great addition to a family! ##2158324##

Story
Hi, I’m Missy! I’m a sweet, 11 month old laid-back husky mix who loves snuggling up on the couch after a nice, easy walk or car ride. I’m pretty friendly with cats, dogs, and kids. I don’t mind sharing my space as long as I’m getting attention. I love chewing on toys but I’m too relaxed to play fetch. I’m also super treat-motivated, which makes me eager to learn (though, to be honest, I’ve only mastered “sit”so far). I was found on the streets, after having puppies, I was not microchipped so I’m still figuring out some of the house rules, but I promise I’m a quick learner! Things to note: I can get a bit protective over my food, if you leave stuff on the counter or floor I might try to eat it, but with some patience and understanding I know I’ll get better. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion, I’d love to be your new best friend!
