Story
Lucky is potty trained (he will stand by door, when he wants to go) loves playing with other dogs, likes playing so much wants to play with Bear the cat, but Bear won't have anything to do with him. Lucky rarely barks, very laid back, and unless he has another dog, he might be a little lazy. He likes staying in or out, depends on the day, however, would enjoy outside more if he had another friend to play with, so he resorts to chasing gecko's/bugs to entertain himself, and if he catches it, it's a snack, no letting it lose. fyi, i got Lucky from SPCA Sept 2023, son wanted a dog, but I'm the one caring for him and i don't have time to care for him. Son is with Dad most of time, and he agrees it's not fair to Lucky. So now stuck rehoming him. I am not concerned with the adoption fee, i simply want a good home for him. He's a wonderful dog, and I won’t be letting him go unless it’s the right fit for both parties. A family with kids, additional pets a plus, but not a deal breaker.

Story
Bailey is the sweetest girl and has never met a stranger! Originally saved by rescue after she was run over and her owners couldn't afford to help her, she eventually had to have one of her legs amputated. She loves to go on walks and having three legs does not slow her down a single bit! She can jump, run, and play like any other dog. She runs right up to all houseguests to say hi and gets full body wags when she’s excited. She enjoys being outside to sun herself and is pretty mellow and relaxed most of the time. She can goof around too, and she likes to play with both human and dog companions. She is great with most dogs; however, she does not get along with older dogs and dominant dogs, and a home without cats is also best. She’s wonderful with kids.

Story
Moana, now almost 4 years old, was adopted from TSDR 2 years ago and is sadly being returned due to her family's changing work schedule. She loves to play catch and run from one side of the house to the other. She's a well-behaved girl who allows her humans to cut her nails, wash her, brush her, etc. She also has a tendency to snore! Moana is both house and crate trained, and would make a wonderful addition to a family able to give her the attention she needs.

Story
Sweet Cashew was picked up in Nov last year with heartworms, but he didn't let it slow him down! He's finished his treatment and is all cleared to find his furever family. Cashew already knows a few commands including sit and shake. He's energetic and can be a bit of a drama king - a typical husky!

Tucker2

Siberian Husky

Male, Adult
Sugar Land, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
TSDRs Tucker2 was transferred back to a foster home after “working” at our boarding facility. After he was returned from his last failed adoption he went to our board-n-train for additional training. He graduated and became one of the star pupils who they used for training and socializing new dogs that came in from other rescues for training and/or evaluation. He is doing well back at the house and loves playing with foster siblings Alex and Alita. He is house and crate trained. He is a strong willed and smart husky that needs an experienced owner (no first time owners) who will continue to give him structure and guidance or he will likely regress to being a brat again! He is a sweet boy and has matured since his early days. He prefers a home with no young kids! He’s also not a fan of having his paws messed with (including nail trims). He listens well and is good with correction.

Story
Sweet Sky2 was found wandering the streets and rescued by her current foster family. They say she is the sweetest dog they have come across, and "she is so easy. Everyone who comes to our house loves her." Sky2 is house broken, walks well on a leash, and is good with all ages. She loves car rides. Sky2 could be a great addition to a family or wonderful company for an older friend. She has minor vision issues, but is doing great otherwise and is ready to find a furever family to love her the way she will love them!
