Story
Happy, sweet, affectionate.  Those three words sum up Delilah.  She loves car rides and hanging on the patio.  She will join you at restaurants, running errands, the dog park or the park-park.  She'll gladly nap next to you on the couch or floor and keep you company after you've had a lovely walk and a game of tug.  If you have another dog, she will play with them.  If you don't, that's fine too.  She approaches everyone the same - with a wagging tail and soft eyes.   She's just an all around grand girl and just the best dog.     ##2219194##

Story
Ooh, you're going to love Hattie, our gorgeous red-coated husky mix! We're not sure of the exact mix, but we suspect she might have some border collie in her. And at just 15 months old and 50 pounds, this girl is brimming with personality!Hattie is such a funny, playful pup - you should see her hunting butterflies and bees in the grass! She can be a little aloof at times, but she's also super eager to learn. And the best part? She's already crate, house, and leash trained! While Hattie gets along well with other dogs, she's not the most playful pup. She's more of a "co-exist" kind of gal. But don't worry, she'll be the perfect companion, always happy to hang out with you and your crew. Just keep in mind that she does have a strong prey drive, so we wouldn't recommend her in a home with cats.So what are you waiting for? Come meet this sweet, spunky girl and see if she's the perfect addition to your family!   To meet Hattie in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##2289209##

Story
Hi. I'm Sterling! I am a young Husky with a tail full of magic. I was in a shelter and got rescued. I am smart, brave and quick to learn. I am happy, energetic at times, playful and a bit goofy. I am also loyal and sweet. I am looking for a family with older kids who understand me and my needs. I am about 2 years old and weigh 50 lbs. I love, love, love frozen peanut butter kongs so if you ever thing you need some quiet time, just give me one of those. It will occupy me for hours. Adopt me and let's create our own magic together! ##2038711##
