Story
Amora: •Husky/Pit Bull/Border Collie mix •2 years old •60lbs •Spayed female •Good on the leash •Crate and potty trained •Dog and kid friendly Amora is an affectionate, loyal, cuddly 2 year old Husky/Pit Bull mix who loves chilling with her people, playing around the yard, and going on adventures to new places! She is a total people pleaser and is always looking to you for direction and comfort! Amora weighs a hefty 60lbs, but don't let that number scare you; she is the definition of a gentle giant. Amora was picked up as a stray and brought to our local high kill shelter where she found herself on the euthanasia list for space. Amora came in with an uncomfortable, bulky, ugly red studded collar on, so we know she was owned at one point, but not very well loved unfortunately. Despite her rough start, Amora remains the sweetest, most loyal girl ever and she is surprisingly not wary of strangers. At the shelter, the volunteers fell in love with her gentle demeanor and sweet disposition so they rallied to get this girl off the list and into a rescue, as they do with so many others as well! We saw Amora's plea and decided we had to step in and come to her rescue, and the rest is history! Amora has been the absolute best dog since the first day we brought her home. Most dogs are nervous for at least the first 24 hours, but as soon as she got out of the car and into the yard Amora showed us just how beautifully loving she really is. She bonds with people so quickly and just wants to be your best friend and right hand girl! Amora is incredibly loyal and will attach herself to you right off the bat. As previously mentioned, she is not wary of strangers and loves to make new friends, but don't mistake that for her lacking intuition! If she senses a potential threat or feels unsure about something in the distance, she will be on alert and right at your side to protect you. Aside from the occasional moments like those, Amora is a carefree and goofy girl! In addition to getting along with all kinds of humans, Amora also loves to hang out with other dogs, play with and make new doggy friends! She plays very well with others and enjoys the company of other dogs, so we think she would love to have a canine companion in her new home. If she doesn't end up having a doggy sibling, though, she will be perfectly content with having her person/people all to herself! Amora is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Taz has grown into a mature, easygoing guy who still has just the right amount of playful spirit. Once known for his nonstop zoomies, this handsome boy has mellowed out over time. Don’t worry! he’s still got his goofy side and loves to show it off when the mood strikes! He’s easy to leash up (even if he can’t help a few happy hops of excitement), and he walks nicely with just a bit of pulling. In the play yard, Taz is content to explore on his own, sniffing around and taking in all the sights and smells. He enjoys toys - the squeaky ones in particular grab his attention - and he’ll focus on them really well, even if he doesn't always want to play with them. Taz isn’t overly focused on treats, but he’s a big fan of gentle pets and calm affection. He’ll lean into you and loves the one-on-one attention. Getting dressed up? No problem - he’ll stand perfectly still and let you fuss with a bow tie like the good boy he is. After a year of waiting, Taz has really grown into himself. He’s still got that spark of fun that makes him so lovable, but he’s also learned how to slow down and enjoy the moment. If you’re looking for a sweet, handsome companion with a playful heart and a calm side, Taz is ready to meet you.

Story
Monday is one of those dogs who lights up the moment she notices someone is there just for her. She loves people — really loves them — and there’s nothing she enjoys more than pets, praise, and feeling like she belongs to someone. She’s got a fun, outdoorsy spirit and is famous here for her hose-time antics: Monday tries to “catch” the water with all her determination, and it’s impossible not to laugh watching her do her thing. She’s also a smart, energetic girl who simply hasn’t gotten the individual attention she deserves in a busy shelter environment. Monday will thrive with someone who knows how to guide a dog with big feelings — not in a difficult way, but in a “teach her how to focus, settle, and succeed” kind of way. She and her buddy Bowie hang out and bark at the world together, so she’s used to having a canine neighbor—but with her prey drive, she can’t live with small animals. With the right person, Monday is going to be an absolutely fantastic companion: pretty, affectionate, funny, and full of potential.

Story
This is two dogs I would like to keep them together if possible. They are both good dogs, Tejas the brown one is around 2-1/2 yrs old and more easy going not super active but does enjoy playing. Good with kids and also protective. She does have allergies we get her shots for every other month not sure if its food related or what. Tabasco the black one is younger around 1-1/2 yrs old loves to play very active she is super sweet and will play tag, soccer just about anything. Both are very smart dogs and love to play together we keep them in the house kenneled while at work and let them free roam when we are home at night until the next morning. They are house trained, they potty trained at our old home and did fine transitioning into a new home so I would assume there would be no issue with yours. Our schedules are very rough and I see them getting a little rougher so I dont want them kenneled 12 hours a day. Contact with any more questions.
