Story
Amos got to us after he had to go from the animal shelter to the vet clinic for an amputation. We don’t know why his front left leg was so damaged. We do know that the night of his surgery he managed to rip out all of his stitches and laid his head on the vet tech’s shoulder while getting wrapped for repair surgery the next morning. He is not quite a typical Husky as he’s very laid back. He doesn’t use his voice near as often as most Huskies although he does have a little growl in his conversational voice which isn’t nearly as off-putting as it might sound.Amos has great house manners, does fine on a leash, and would be a perfect go-everywhere boy for his family. He adores his humans and is very loving and outgoing. He is a social boy and meeting new people and animals is easy for him. He’s fine with cats and seems to ignore the livestock kids at his foster home.He is very engaged with his humans and loves to be as close when he doesn’t want to spend time watching the world go by from his perch on the porch. He will often ask to sleep outside but is willing to do what his human feels is best.Amos is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and current with flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Juno is an 8 year old, 60 lb Husky who was surrendered to Legacy Humane Society due to his owners moving away. He does well with kids, cats, and other dogs and, typical of his breed, is happy and talkative.  Is the animal housebroken?   No, Juno never pee or poop in the house, if he really need to go, he will speak and bring you to the back door Is the animal crate trained?   Yes, juno is okay to be in crate, but you know its Husky. They will talk you out of the crate  Where is the animal kept during the day?   Roam free in house Additional information about Juno:   Likes to talk and give hugs Knows basic commands: Sit, stay, laydown, speak, like to play fetch Rides well in a car, never get sicked and loves looking around Leash trained but also does well with a gentle leader   Juno is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. His fee is $200 and you can apply for him here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/ Please stay tuned for more info as we get to know Juno! We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Does not tug on leash, and even kind and gentle with my cat! More on Frau soon. I need to download a vid of her and Roxy together. It's adorable, and they go together as a bonded pair

Story
Lexi is such a wonderful and well-behaved dog. She is incredibly friendly with kids and absolutely loves going for walks. Her favorite toy is a tennis ball, and while Huskies typically require a lot of exercise, she manages to keep herself entertained by playing with her ball and running around in the backyard if we’re busy. She is fully potty-trained. Despite Huskies being known as escape artists, Lexi is an exception—she respects boundaries and stays inside even if the door is open. She’s also incredibly smart and intuitive. Whenever I’m feeling down, she senses it and never fails to comfort me. Unfortunately, we’re in a very difficult situation and have no choice but to put her up for adoption. Our top priority is ensuring she finds a loving and caring family who will give her the wonderful life she deserves.

Story
Our Coby is an AKC-registered Siberian Husky in color Brown/White, 3 years old. We acquired him from an AKC Husky breeder. He is a very beautiful, lovely, healthy, and gentle dog. We love Coby so much and have had many happy times. But unfortunately, currently, due to a busy schedule from the Job, we are so sad and heartbroken to decide to rehome our lovely Coby. We are now looking forward to finding a nice family to adopt our Coby who can continue to take care and love him, and have more time to spend with him.

Story
Abbie is a 1-year-old spayed female Husky/Kelpie mix with a stunning black and tan coat and the sweetest smile that will melt your heart. She is a happy, playful girl who absolutely loves taking walks and is great on a leash, making her the perfect adventure buddy. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a fun outing to the park, Abbie is always ready to go! This friendly pup is dog-friendly and would love a canine companion to play with. She enjoys spending time outside, playing, and soaking up the fresh air, so a home with a yard would be wonderful—but she might also do well in an apartment with enough exercise and playtime. Abbie is full of love and affection, and nothing makes her happier than receiving hugs and cuddles from her favorite people. Abbie’s joy is contagious, especially when she’s surrounded by her favorite toys and treats. She’s looking for a loving home where she can share her fun-loving spirit and affectionate nature. If you’re searching for a sweet, loyal, and playful companion, Abbie is ready to steal your heart. Come meet her today!
