Story
Amos got to us after he had to go from the animal shelter to the vet clinic for an amputation. We don’t know why his front left leg was so damaged. We do know that the night of his surgery he managed to rip out all of his stitches and laid his head on the vet tech’s shoulder while getting wrapped for repair surgery the next morning. He is not quite a typical Husky as he’s very laid back. He doesn’t use his voice near as often as most Huskies although he does have a little growl in his conversational voice which isn’t nearly as off-putting as it might sound.Amos has great house manners, does fine on a leash, and would be a perfect go-everywhere boy for his family. He adores his humans and is very loving and outgoing. He is a social boy and meeting new people and animals is easy for him. He’s fine with cats and seems to ignore the livestock kids at his foster home.He is very engaged with his humans and loves to be as close when he doesn’t want to spend time watching the world go by from his perch on the porch. He will often ask to sleep outside but is willing to do what his human feels is best.Amos is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and current with flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Ivana was adopted from a breeder as a baby. As she grew, it was clear to the family that a young husky pup needs more time and attention than they have available to give her. They reach out to LHS for assistance rehoming her, so now it's your turn to give this adorable girl a loving forever home.  Ivana is crate trained and house broken. She gets along wonderful with dogs of all shapes and sizes. We have yet to see her around cats but we can cat test if needed. Due to her young puppy energy she would do best in a home with children over the age of 6 as she can easily harm a little one on accident with puppy play and jumping.  She is just a puppy so while she has some basic training, she will still need a home that has the time and patience to teach her how to be the best puppy she can be.  Ivana is current on heartworm prevention and microchipped. She will be spayed on 3/28 and brought current on vaccinations. If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please complete an online application today at: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/ DOB: 9/15/24 Weight: Approx 40lbs when full grown (currently 30lbs)  We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Story
Hazel will be 3 on April 16th. She was moments away from going to the pound when I found her and had to do something! She quickly became my baby bestie! She is super energetic, loving, playful, and sweet! Unfortunately Hazel has separation anxiety and because my career requires me to be away from home I’m unable to keep her. She is house trained and crate trained but is severely struggling when I leave for work (same time and longer periods). I just want Hazel to go to a good home with a family that will love her and be patient with her. She can sit, lay down, paw, stay, and is working on rolling over. She loves to run in the back yard and play with other big dogs.

Story
Our Coby is an AKC-registered Siberian Husky in color Brown/White, 3 years old. We acquired him from an AKC Husky breeder. He is a very beautiful, lovely, healthy, and gentle dog. We love Coby so much and have had many happy times. But unfortunately, currently, due to a busy schedule from the Job, we are so sad and heartbroken to decide to rehome our lovely Coby. We are now looking forward to finding a nice family to adopt our Coby who can continue to take care and love him, and have more time to spend with him.

Story
Was adopted about two years ago very sweet dog unfortunately didn’t get enough attention. Everybody was very busy she started displaying misbehavior and started to escape. She loves attention and loves company. Couple things you have to be aware of is she is scared of thunder, fireworks, and rain and doesn’t like to be alone. She needs a little bit more of social exposure it’s there she just hasn’t been exposed to it as much anymore, but she’s naturally a gentle dog and a very attentive dog very nurturing and very high energy.

Story
Io is a beautiful and sweet girl, she is very attentive and loves to be chased. She enjoys playing with cats and other dogs. She loves being outside. She is usually quiet unless she wants something, in that case, the husky inside comes forth. She knows basic commands and is extremely smart. She is well loved and we want to ensure she finds a home with as much love as she has to give.
