Story
Hi! My name is Kylo and I'm a handsome husky! You know, the breed of dog that typically loves to run and just can't sit still for even a second. I do love to go for a nice walk around the block - after all, exercise is important if you want to be healthy. However, after my daily activity, I like to sit and relax, stare out the window and daydream. With me, you get the best of both worlds - the beauty of a husky plus the calmness of a cuddly lapdog. I get along with other doggies I see and I'll let out a "Woo-woo-woo! to let you know that I'm happy. I'm crate-trained (though I'd rather sleep in the open), house-trained and I'd be a perfect fit for your home...as long as you don't have cats! I'd love to meet you and your family!

Story
Hi, I'm Tobi and I'm going to tell you why I'm such a good doggy! First off, I was rescued by a Good Samaritan who saw me living my life in a small kennel almost 24 hours a day! Fortunately, I was swiftly rescued and I am on my way to find a new, loving home. I like to play a lot with my friends and I am house / kennel trained. I also walk very well on a leash. I am great with children, dogs and don't even pay attention to cats. You'll hit the jackpot with me, so adopt me today

Story
Hola, soy Mila- a playful, energetic, and sweet-natured dog who absolutely loves being around people. My favorite activities include playing with my favorite humans, running around the yard, and chewing on my peanut butter-filled Kon. Peanut butter is definitely my treat of choice! I'm always up for a long walk, playtime with other dogs, or cuddling after a fun-filled day. I am great with humans and dogs alike! I have an infectious enthusiasm that can light up any room, though I can get a little too excited around cats. I am constantly learning to keep my excitement in check when meeting new people and may jump up to greet them, but I am not big or heavy. While I sleep soundly in my crate at night, I am not a big fan of being confined during the day. Thankfully, a peanut butter-filled Kong helps keep me occupied while you're away. I am usually great at pottying outside but may still have an occasional accident, especially when transitioning to a new environment. Whether I'm making new friends or settling in for a nap, my heart is as big as my energy, always ready for my next adventure! P.S. I hope that next adventure involves you and peanut butter!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Shine is a 4 year old, SPECIAL NEEDS husky mix. She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed and heartworm negative. Shine was born with intramural ectopic ureters, abnormalities in the tubular tissues that connect the kidneys to the bladder. The birth defect causes urinary incontinence, as her urine bypassed her bladder. Shine had laser surgery as a young puppy to open the ureters back to her bladder. The surgery corrected some of her urinary incontinence; however, she continues to have urinary leakage. Shine is crate trained and enjoys toys, bones, dipping her feet in the swimming pool and playing with other friendly dogs. She is on the small side for a husky, but that keeps her jumping a 6 foot fence (as huskies are known to do!). She also sheds - a furminator and/or doggie brush, and vacuum cleaner are necessities! Shine needs a family who is willing to take on this challenge and love her "as-is." If you think you are ready to adopt a special needs baby please put in an application at www.hhfrescue.org. If you have any questions, please contact us at hhfrescue@gmail.com.

Story
King Magnifico is the biggest in his litter. Also the biggest baby! He is really cautious about everything, people, toys, new experiences. He hangs back and lets the other pups take the lead. Once they give their seal of approval, he's all in. From the baby pool to cuddles and even running around the yard. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application on our website at www.hhfrescue.org.
