This young Husky/Shepard dog mix was the victim of divorce and owner surrendered to the Euless shelter. Dash is 15 months old, 47lbs, fully vaccinated, neutered and heartworm negative. He has a lot of energy as you would expect from a young dog of his breed and would make a great running or hiking partner. He enjoys car rides and would be a great sidekick on weekend adventures. Dash needs a little leash training, but learns quickly and is very smart. He’s dog friendly and loves going to doggie daycare. Dash is the kind of dog that easily becomes a member of the family. Due to his energy level and size, home without small children or frail individuals would be best and would benefit from a fenced in yard.If you would like to meet this fabulous dog, please contact jgressett@sbcglobal.net or 214-536-8606November 5, 2024, 3:48 pm

She has been spayed and has a chip. She’s up to date on all vaccines and takes Nextguard Plus monthly. Allie is absolutely beautiful and very sweet when indoors being monitored.   She is young and the breed is a working dog, so exercise is very important.  Allie has had some training, and she needs someone who will follow through with home training.   She would be a perfect fit for an active person or family.  For information on Allie, please email Steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 3:48 pm

Story
Meet Akira, a stunning 6 month old Husky puppy with a big heart and a playful spirit that will make you fall in love instantly! Born in May 2024, Akira began her journey as a service dog-in-training, spending her early days with an older gentleman who adored her but couldn’t continue with her training. Now thriving in foster care, Akira is ready for a fresh start with a family who can help her become the best companion she can be! With her strong attachment to people, Akira is the ultimate family dog—she loves to be close to her humans and finds joy in being part of every moment. Since she’s used to having constant companionship, being alone is new for her, and she’s learning to manage short separations a little at a time. Her foster family is also helping her with crate training, so she’s discovering that her crate is a safe, cozy space to relax. And if she wants to communicate with you? Akira has the most endearing husky howl—a little vocal “hello” that adds a special touch of personality to this already charming girl! Akira’s boundless energy and curiosity make her a true adventurer. She’s a speedy runner, loves exploring her surroundings, and has a blast playing with toys. Her social nature means she also adores other dogs, making her a perfect playmate for any furry siblings. When it’s time to relax, though, Akira is a total snugglebug, ready to wind down with you and show off her big, happy smile and her incredibly soft coat that makes cuddle time even sweeter. Currently, Akira is working on her leash skills and learning how to be her best self on walks. With her intelligence and eagerness to please, she’ll thrive with a family that can guide her through training and help her continue to grow. Akira would do best in a home that understands the unique spirit of a Husky—one that can offer plenty of love, patience, and, of course, playtime! If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and slightly talkative sidekick, Akira can’t wait to meet you. She’s currently in a loving foster home in Fort Collins, CO, dreaming of her forever family! ##2224825##

Story
"Meet Luna ADOPT ME LUNA Luna is a beautiful 6 yo, 56 lbs, incredibly intelligent Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix who is looking for a home in DFW, TX. She is good with cats. However, Luna's personality tells us that she enjoys being the main, most adored dog in the house. Therefore, she may compete with other dogs in the home for attention, toys, and treats. She is a very people-oriented dog. She loves to be loved on, especially belly rubs, and bedtime snuggles. She loves, loves, loves riding in the car and she is good on a leash. This girl is craving to be someone's main dog on the go. She has an adventurous spirit who craves learning new things. She is not great in a crate, which is typical of her breed. She will go into a crate if you tell her, but it takes her a long time to settle down. MORE PICS IN THE COMMENTS Stats: Spayed Knows basic commands (No, Stop, Bedtime...) Crate-trained, but looking for a home that does not require this. Leash-trained Potty-trained Good with Cats Okay with Dog, but looking for a home where she can be an only dog Good with Kids - if older. No small children due to her size only Current on vaccines Current on heartworm and flea prevention Heartworm Negative Current Dental (4/11/24) Last Check Up with Bloodwork (4/11/24) Medical: Luna has an issue with the skin on her nose and we are in the process of determining if it was her injuring herself trying to get out of a crate or fencing in her previous home, or if there is a dermatology issue. Once she heals up from her dental, our rescue will get her nose biopsied and have the full details available to potential adopters. Questions? cowtownpets@gmail.com Adoption app: https://cowtownpets.org/online-adoption-app/ Adoption fee: $250 Rescue Story: Luna was pulled from her previous home after her owner reached out saying she could no longer care for her. Upon pick up, we found that Luna was neglected in terms of health care and left outside. Despite living in some amount of regular pain from dental, skin and ear issues, Luna remains vivacious, fun, and loving. She is now on her way to being a healthy girl with a bright future ahead of her.
