Story
My parents took Blue Sky in as a puppy. He was about 3 months when they got him. He is about a year and 3 months now. We are hoping to find a home where there are no cats or small animals as he does have a strong prey drive. Also where he will have lots of exercise. He is still young and has lots of energy and needs to be walked an hour a day at least. The reason my parents are unable to keep him is because my dads health has declined rapidly and my mom is no longer able to give blue sky the attention he needs while being a full time caretaker for my dad. We ask that whoever decides to adopt him make sure they can give him the attention he deserves and can train him properly. Blue sky is a very loyal, energetic, playful dog.

Story
Schooner wandered onto the rescue property early this year. He got along fine with the ranch dogs and made himself at home. He was shy at first until he knew he was safe. Schooner is a lover. Just sweet as he can be. And he loves to run! And run! And run! He is absolutely gorgeous all stretched out in a full run around the property. Unfortunately he lost that privilege when he started killing the resident chickens! So no chickens or small to medium farm animals. It is simply husky nature to hunt so he's just doing what is natural. He does so so on a leash. Rides great in a care. Gives hugs. He is eager to please and would love a home and family of his own who will teach him all the good stuff about being a family. Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms

Story
Welcome Maz to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Maz is a 5 month old pup that is Husky/Staffordshire Terrier. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Maz is the biggest female. She is 3nd biggest in the litter. She is relaxed and one of the least vocal. She is a nice girl and since he is the biggest girl we think he will for sure be 65 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
