Story
Sidra is a gorgeous husky mix, she’s super sweet, loves kisses, and will easily veg out while you do what you need to. I will make aware that if you live in an apartment she is not the best apartment dog. she needs a lot of space and likes to remain able to roam. For a husky i can promise you she has not barked once the entire time i’ve had her. overall she’s a great dog, unfortunately i have to surrender her due to a lifestyle change happening. The fee is only because i will be giving with her a collar, leash, crate, all toys and food remaining i bought a new bag a week ago.

Story
My husband and I got Juneau as a puppy in March of 2018 before our first anniversary. He went everywhere with us, ; on road trips, to hike, etc. He was always pretty active with us. Since then, we’ve added two human kids, and relocated due to jobs and life has gotten very busy. Now, with us relocating soon across the country for another job change, we are unable to make the move with our Juneau Pup. He’s very active, like most huskies are, and loves to cuddle. The home we are looking for, for Juneau would be someone who understands the needs of a husky and can provide that for him.

Story
This is Latto, we got her in the summer time and she is the sweetest ever! Latto loves running, playing fetch, and pets. She is very good with kids and sometimes even acts as if she's a (human) kid herself. When she's with other dogs she is just typically very curious, we haven't seen any aggressive behavior towards any dogs or humans. She isn't very house-trained but she does know when to sit and lay. When we got Latto we thought we were ready to adopt but a lot happened in those few months that made us realize we weren't. Were moving soon into a home with lots of people and at this home we aren't allowed to have any pets. So we hope we can find a great long-time home for her!

Story
Meet Milo!Milo is a 45 pound, 5 year old Husky mix who will immediately steal your heart. He came to us from a shelter, where he was dropped off by his previous owner for developing glaucoma, which ultimately led to blindness. Milo’s disability doesn’t slow him down one bit! Most who come into contact with him don’t even notice he can’t see until it’s told to them. Calm-natured and gentle-mannered, this sweet boy makes friends easily with all humans. Milo is very well behaved, hardly ever barking and never engages in destructive behaviors. Milo will do just about anything for a good treat, and is very smart, making him easy to teach new tricks. He’ll be your loyal pal forever if given his favorites - peanut butter or beef marrow bones! Milo is low-energy, but does love to play with his human every now and again. Long walks and learning new tricks are among some of his favorite activities. Milo would do well in both a house or apartment building, as he is low-energy and rarely barks. He does love to spend time outdoors, so a fenced yard or balcony is a plus! Milo loves to be around his people, and enjoys all the snuggles he can get! However, Milo does just fine being left alone if needed and will happily greet you when you return. Milo is crate and house trained, and has not had an accident since being in our care. Though he is crate trained, his foster does not often crate him as he is calm and not destructive. Milo would need slow and proper introductions to other dogs in the home. He would need a friend who is low-medium energy and is patient with him, given his disability, which sometimes leads to him bumping into others/objects.Milo’s glaucoma requires daily eyedrops, which are necessary to prevent pain and disease progression. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Hi! I’m Buffy. I’m on the smaller side of medium size and I’m almost one year old! If you’re looking for the cutest little furry Valentine around, look no further! Here I am!I was adopted but recently had to come back to Saving Hope due to changes in my adopter’s life, and through no fault of my own. Now, I’m excited to find my forever home!My foster family says that I’m an exceptionally good girl. I sleep well in my crate at night, and I know to go stand by the door when I need to go outside to potty. I’ve adjusted to my foster home routine quickly, and they think I’m one of the sweetest, happiest, and funniest dogs they’ve seen. I admit that I’m a little snuggle bug and love to cuddle up with my foster family on the couch for belly rubs and naps. They talk all the time about how cute I am, especially the way my ears bend backwards at the top. Even strangers comment on how cute my ears are. Speaking of strangers, I love to meet people and never bark at them. I’m not much of a barker in general.I have a furry foster brother who is bigger than me, but once we were introduced, and we each set our boundaries, we’ve been great. We love to play outside together, whether we’re playing tug-o-war, chasing each other around the yard, or just soaking up the sun. My foster parents think I’d be fine in a home by myself too because if I have toys to play with, I’m a pretty content girl. I love going on walks and do well on a leash. I can get excited when I see new things or sniff new smells, but I do try to remember my walking manners. I still have puppy energy, so it’s important to have toys for me to play with and that I can chew on. I’m not sure how I’d do with cats but there’s one that frequently wanders into the yard and while I’ve never approached her, I haven’t chased her off either. If you’re looking for a cute little fuzzy family member, here I am! I’d love to be your Valentine this year.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Bikkie! Bikkie is the sweetest 4 month old Husky mix gal! Preferring the company of humans over other dogs, she’s always the first to come up for affection. Quiet by nature, she cherishes her snuggle time. While she gets along well with other dogs, she does appreciate privacy during meals.Having spent time around cats and livestock, Bikkie has done well with them, though if they run, she assumes it’s time for a game of chase. Highly food-motivated, she excels in training and picks up new things quickly. Whether as an only dog or part of a pack, Bikkie would fit in beautifully. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Meet Dundee! The playful, energetic, and lovable 5 month old Husky mix! Dundee is a happy and active young pup who lives for running around and having fun. He loves playing with other dogs and is learning how to roughhouse like a champ. With plenty of energy to burn, he’s always up for adventure, but he also knows how to relax and stay calm, especially in his kennel. He’s growing fast and has outgrown his small puppy days—definitely no Jack Russell Terrier size anymore! Like most young pups, Dundee is still working on his chewing habits, but with the right guidance, he’s sure to shine.Dundee would be an amazing companion for an active family looking for a playful and loving pup to join their pack!
