Story
???? The Christmas Adventure of Harlow Noel ?????On the first frosty night of December, a playful husky named Harlow Noel followed a trail of Christmas magic straight to our shelter. With her one golden eye and one icy-blue eye, she looked like she had been painted by the Northern Lights themselves!??Rumor has it she was helping Santa test a “Kindness Compass,” but a mischievous winter wind blew her off course—so now she’s here, making our halls brighter with her goofy antics, off-key singing, and wiggly holiday joy.?Harlow Noel is hoping her Christmas magic leads her to a home for the holidays. Could it be yours???Harlow will be available for adoption at our Walmart Adoption Event on Saturday from 11am - 2pm. Find all the event details here: https://www.facebook.com/share/1Bf3z2AZnx/??Harlow is a ~2-3 year old spayed female Husky mix that weighs 82lbs. She REALLY enjoys snacks! Who doesn`t though, am I right? Harlow is playful, friendly, vocal, and ridiculous - like most Huskies. She seems be housetrained and likes other dogs. We ALWAYS recommend a meet and greet! She is shaved so looks a little different in person (see comments for more pics). WE did NOT shave her. She came into the shelter that way.?Have questions? Email us at aco@municipalanimalservices.net or call 817-561-5495.

Story
Hi! My name is Violet, and I am looking for a home. I am about 9 years old, and they say I am a mini-Aussie husky mix. I know LOTS of tricks! I can spin, twirl on my hind legs, sit pretty, speak and even tell you "I love you". I am a good girl also, and will sit, down and roll over on command. I do have a sensitive stomach and need a grain free diet, (my favorite is, Fromm) and like all Texans, I have allergies. My foster says a shot of Apoquel will take care of all my itches. My foster says I am really sweet too, but I need to be an only child, or the only female and no small animals. However, I do like two legged children past the toddle stage. I love long hikes and running with my human while they ride a bike. Lastly, I am scared of thunderstorms and fireworks, but trazadone helps calm my fears. If you think I might be a good fit for your family and would like to meet me, email us at; info@muttsandmittens.org.

Story
Kira was abandoned in a trailer park, we were told someone dropped her off because she was killing their chickens. Kira is very docile and extremely well behaved. She does need to be inside mostly during the summer. She is good with all other dogs and cats. Not good with birds. Very good with kids of all ages, even my autistic step son who has meltdowns and will crawl all over her and she doesnt mind at all. Refuses to get on furniture. Loves being outdoors when its not hot and will fight to not come in when its cold. My older son has moved away and we work 60hr weeks so cant care for her. She is very loving and doesnt need much care just a little love now and again. Im not sure of her exact age im guessing around 9-10yrs. She will still play a little bit but not very much.
