Story
We found Max about 8 months ago starved and in poor condition. His owner was abusive and neglectful and Max was basically on his own. We began feeding him, took him to the vet to have him neutered and get his shots, and he began staying with us some. His owner gave him to us about 2 months ago and Max is now in good shape and ready for a new owner. The house we're living in has been sold and we're moving out and, unfortunately, losing our fenced yard for at least a year while we build a house and live in an RV. Max needs an experienced owner who can work with him on a few things. But he's really smart, very athletic, eager to learn and looking forward to a lifelong home with a new owner. He's leash trained, house trained, kennel trained and in fact, loves his kennel. He will still counter surf if you leave food out but we're working on that.He hasn't been around people very much and needs help with that. The good news is, you will no longer need to compost. Max will handle it!

Story
Ree is a surprisingly quiet Husky with a sweet and loving nature—but don’t let her calm demeanor fool you! She’s an expert digger who would happily assist as your “gardening buddy” (whether you need the help or not). Ree adores hugs and considers herself a lapdog, even if the couch disagrees, and she’ll shower you with gentle kisses as her way of saying thanks for letting her rule your heart—and your yard!

Story
Available in TX, PNW and NE! Meet Maddie! This sweet, sassy, and spirited 1-year-old Husky/Collie mix is ready to bring joy and adventure into her forever home! Weighing around 50 pounds, Maddie is a playful companion who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys interacting with cats. She's also wonderful with toddlers and children, making her a perfect fit for a family looking for an affectionate and kid-friendly furry friend. Her friendly and fun-loving nature shines, and she'll keep you entertained with her playful antics and affectionate personality. Maddie loves to play ball and will happily chase after her toys for hours. However, she hesitates to get into a car and needs a little encouragement to hop in. Once settled, she rides just fine and enjoys the journey. Maddie thrives in a stable home with someone there most of the time, as she cherishes human companionship and craves reassurance. She can be anxious in a kennel, so a family that offers her plenty of time and space to relax in a calm environment would be ideal. This smart girl is already learning her manners, including commands like sit, down, and recall. She's eager to please and picks up new skills quickly, making her a fantastic candidate for continued training. Maddie's blend of sweetness and sassiness will bring so much personality to your family, and she'll be thrilled to join you for walks, playtime, or just hanging out on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal, lively, and lovable addition, Maddie might just be your perfect match! Give her the stable, loving home she deserves, and she'll reward you with endless love and devotion. To apply directly for Maddie click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-522 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
