Story
Meet Dakota! This handsome 5-month-old Husky boy is a true testament to resilience. Rescued from euthanasia and now thriving in a loving foster home in WA, Dakota has blossomed into an easygoing and joyful pup. This fluffy guy is a happy-go-lucky, social butterfly who is determined to be the best boy ever!Dakota has already made some special friends in his foster home. Cheeto is his favorite playmate, and he's learned to give the sassy but adorable Biscuit her space. He even gets along wonderfully with the resident Chihuahua! Those cute kitties have certainly captured Dakota's attention, and he's working hard on his manners, trying his best not to chase them – especially when they have the audacity to stroll right up to him! He's a gentle soul at heart and is learning to coexist peacefully with his feline friends. His wonderful temperament extends to the farm animals too, where he's been a perfect gentleman around chickens, turkeys, horses, and the donkey. At night, Dakota sleeps soundly in his crate, dreaming of his next adventures. During the day, he's a loyal shadow, always eager to follow his humans around. A recent outing to the river revealed his absolute love for water – any water will do for this happy pup!Dakota is searching for his forever family and would be a fantastic addition to any home. He would especially love to have an active playmate and devoted humans who enjoy having a loving and loyal companion by their side. Dakota is house trained & leash trained! Please visit our site at https://www.jennisrescueranch.org/ for more information on how to adopt.
