Story
Once upon a time, there was a San Antonio woodland, home to many little critters: Badger, Fawn, Rabbit, Possum, and Fox. They lived off of berries and leaves until they were fortunate enough to be rescued by a fellow animal lover. Once they arrived at SNIPSA, it was clear their diet was unsuitable for a puppy, so we bathed them, examined them, and provided a nutritious meal! After having full bellies, they could nestle and rest, patiently awaiting their foster and forever home. In foster care, our critters are happy and playful! They seem to be Husky mixes, which are friendly, active dogs with whimsy natures. With their sociability, they generally make great family pets! Huskies are known for their intelligence as well as their stubbornness, so it’s important to be consistent with training and activities. Whether you have fellow canines or time for walks, these guys will be happiest as long as they are involved in your day-to-day life. Branch out and ‘leaf’ your worries behind because you are certain to embark on a loving adventure with one of these puppies! Submit your application below!

Story
Hello, this is Arya! She is an incredibly sweet puppy. She has been house trained, and potty trained. Though I will say that she has a lot of energy and so she needs lots of stimulation. I received Arya from ACS back in June and she was a great companion for myself and my other dog, Satine, who ended up passing away in August. At the time, I believe she was about a year old. The reason why I am posting her on here is because the place I live at has given me my renewal which just so happens to be $1k more than what I pay right now and so I've made the tough decision to move out of state to accept a different kind of role. This job is life changing for me, and one that will require 12-16 hour shifts. Because of this, I feel that Arya will not get the attention that she deserves. Arya deserves to have someone that has the time to spend with her, who will take her out to parks, who will take great care of her and watch her grow, and who will love her unconditionally.

Meet Bruno – Your New Best Friend! Bruno is a lovable, playful, and sweet dog looking for his forever home! Rescued just weeks before our first child was born, Bruno immediately showed his trusting nature by rolling over for belly rubs. Since then, he’s grown stronger, healthier, and more confident. Bruno is a chewer, so keep your favorite items out of reach! He’s a quick learner and already knows basic commands like “sit” and “down.” With some practice, he’ll master more commands in no time! He loves treats, chew toys, and any playtime you can offer. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and energetic companion who thrives on play and affection, Bruno is the dog for you.
