Story
Timber is one of the sweetest dogs who does not let his vision impairment slow him down. At times, you almost forget he can't see because he picks up a routine quickly and learns how to adapt to his environment. Timber is mostly blind and wears a vest with halo on it to keep him from bumping into to things and hurting his nose/face. Timber is wonderful to walk on leash and enjoys the zoomies when outside. Timber is very smart and observant, and will let you know when he doesn't like something. Timber LOVES to lay outside in the grass and dirt, as well as LOVES digging in the dirt. Timber LOVES ear rubs, sleeping, and being beside his human. Timber is a good car rider. Timber is the typical husky that gets very vocal when he has to potty or is tired of being cooped up and wants to stretch his legs. Timber is a picky eater in terms of dog food; however, he LOVES frozen peanut butter filled Kongs / Pupperoni / and beef & chicken jerky dog treats. Timber is an amazing dog!!

Story
Available in TX, PNW and NE! Meet Maddie! This sweet, sassy, and spirited 1-year-old Husky/Collie mix is ready to bring joy and adventure into her forever home! Weighing around 50 pounds, Maddie is a playful companion who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys interacting with cats. She's also wonderful with toddlers and children, making her a perfect fit for a family looking for an affectionate and kid-friendly furry friend. Her friendly and fun-loving nature shines, and she'll keep you entertained with her playful antics and affectionate personality. Maddie loves to play ball and will happily chase after her toys for hours. However, she hesitates to get into a car and needs a little encouragement to hop in. Once settled, she rides just fine and enjoys the journey. Maddie thrives in a stable home with someone there most of the time, as she cherishes human companionship and craves reassurance. She can be anxious in a kennel, so a family that offers her plenty of time and space to relax in a calm environment would be ideal. This smart girl is already learning her manners, including commands like sit, down, and recall. She's eager to please and picks up new skills quickly, making her a fantastic candidate for continued training. Maddie's blend of sweetness and sassiness will bring so much personality to your family, and she'll be thrilled to join you for walks, playtime, or just hanging out on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal, lively, and lovable addition, Maddie might just be your perfect match! Give her the stable, loving home she deserves, and she'll reward you with endless love and devotion. Story
Meet Kolby! This lovable, loyal dog has been part of my life since I adopted him five years ago from a rescue in Alabama, and he’s brought so much joy and companionship. Kolby is a friendly (I call him "aggressively friendly"... He will jump on new people that give him attention), curious dog who thrives with regular play and engagement, and he’s happiest when he’s exploring or enjoying interactive time with his humans. He does well with other dogs, and I think him having another dog to hang out with would help him. Recently, Kolby has shown signs of boredom, and I feel he’d flourish in a home where he can get the engagement he deserves. Due to my own mental health challenges, I’m not able to give Kolby the attention he needs, so I’m seeking a new home where he can truly thrive because I care about him and want what's best for him. Kolby is a wonderful dog, and it’s important to me that he finds a home where he can be his best self.

Story
Apollo is eight months old. he has been raised with multiple cats and a child of which he adores both and has never harmed either. he learned quickly to use the bathroom outdoors and will not willingly use it indoors unless he has no other choice. he loves strangers, other dogs, long walks, and playing. my only complaint with him is that if he is let off leash he will ignore you and not return until he has decided to come home or you chase him down somehow. the reasoning for myself to rehome Apollo is the fact that I am 19 and trying to advance my education and career so I do not have the time to give him everything that he needs. I would hope that whoever chooses to adopt him would care for him as he deserves. I do not want him to be adopted by someone who doesn't have the time for him, nor someone who just wants to show him off he is clever and realizes when he isn't being treated fairly.

Story
Meet Blizzard, a brave and resilient boy with an incredible story of survival and recovery. Blizzard was found by animal control after being shot in the arm. When we saw him on the shelter's page, we knew we had to help him! We took Blizzard to an orthopedic specialist in North Alabama, who confirmed they could repair his shattered humerus. Using an external fixation device, the vet skillfully pieced his arm back together. Blizzard showed remarkable strength and determination throughout his recovery and now has no hardware left in his arm. While he will need physical therapy and possibly hydrotherapy in the future after the internal rod is potentially removed, Blizzard's spirit remains unbroken. Despite all he has been through, Blizzard is the sweetest boy ever and a joy to engage with. His affectionate nature and friendly personality make him a wonderful companion. Blizzard is ready to find his forever home, where he can continue to heal and receive the love he truly deserves. Adopt Blizzard and be a part of his amazing journey to a happy, healthy life.
