Story
Hi there! My name is Bernard, and I’m a spirited Siberian Husky with a story to tell.I wandered into the shelter as a stray (we Huskies are famous for our love of adventure), but sadly, no one came to claim me. Now, I’m on the hunt for a forever home where I can thrive and share my unique personality!Let’s get the important stuff out of the way: experience with Huskies (or similar high-energy breeds) is a must for adopting me. My new family should understand the quirks of my breed—like my love for exploring, occasional mischief, and my vocal talents. Here’s the scoop on me:-- I’m still learning the ropes of crate training. Sometimes I can be left alone without issue, but boredom often gets the better of me. When it does, I might sing you the song of my people or help myself to things that may (or may not) belong to me.-- I used to live with another dog in my foster home and really thrive with a canine buddy. I absolutely must have a doggie companion in my forever home—it helps me stay balanced and happy.-- Cats and small furry animals? Not a good match. My instinct to chase is strong, and I wouldn’t want to cause any trouble.-- I love people, but I tend to play rough. Sometimes I forget that humans aren’t dogs, and my big size and enthusiasm can be a bit much. Because of this, I need a home with humans aged 15 or older who can handle a boisterous pup like me.Despite my mischievous streak, I’m a loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining companion. With the right training, patience, and a dog-savvy home, I’ll be the best Husky you could ever ask for.Do you have room in your life for an adventurous, goofy boy like me? If you think we’re a match, come meet me at the shelter—I can’t wait to make you smile!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hi, I`m Kris! I am everything you would expect a husky to be: playful, energetic, talkative, and headstrong. Did I mention I like to hear the sound of my own voice? I just have so much to say and a really big personality. I am open to possibly living with other animals with proper introduction. I am a very social pack animal who enjoys being around people as much as possible. If you are lonely and want a conversational friend, then you`re in luck! I am not too keen on being cooper up in the shelter, and cannot wait to have my own furever home. I am a skilled escape artist so it would be best to keep me leashed and fenced if possible. Could I be the one for you?---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Neko is a rambunctious pup. He needs someone with patience. He would do best in a home where the people are active. Do to his excitability and jumping, we are looking for a home with children over 12 years old. He loves to play. Neko doesn`t get along well with all dogs or cats. Interested adopters need to come a few times to meet. He would do best with a fenced yard.

Story
Are you ready for fun, frolic and just want to have a good time? Well, I’m your gal! Hey there, I’m known as Daffy. No, not like Daffy the Duck, I’m Daffy the “Friendly to all People” girl that is 6 months old and about 45# that’s looking for not only a good time but a “Furever Home”! Presently living in a rescue/kennel environment, I do need to learn a few things. But being a smart Husky/Pit mix, I’m ready and willing to take my next step and learn to be a great buddy for the whole family. I love to play not only with 2 legged folks, large and small, but also other dogs and possibly cats if given a correct introduction. I’m eager to please, affectionate, loyal, even tempered and yes, even a little “Goofy” in my play. Ball you say, GREAT! Just give it a toss! Huskies are known to be “Free-Spirited”, agile, athletic, ready to explore the outside world and good-natured with everyone. Daffy is just that and more. She is a beautiful pup that is excited to see everyone. Once she says hello, she will settle down and take in your love. Please give my rescue a call to meet me, you will not be disappointed! Daffy is “like Taffy” sweet in demeanor and will stick to your side as you explore together.   DOB: 11/24/23  Pups are Pitbull/Husky mixes.  They are spayed and ready for homes.  Both are very friendly with people and other dogs.  We are not looking to adopt them together. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. Story
Hey everyone! My name is Brody. I’m told my name is Scottish meaning “Ditch or Muddy Place”, totally fitting for a pup (and my litter) being found in a coal mine. Initially black in color (go figure), after a deep cleaning bubble bath, my beautiful chestnut, tan, white soft thick coat shone through with black highlights offset by my STUNNING “Baby Blues”! Not sure why my litter mates have been adopted, leaving me. I’m told I have always been the volunteers favorite due to my Gentle Demeanor and "Sweet as Sugar" personality. Guess it’s my initial shyness. I’m assured my “true soul mate” is out there, just need to find one another! Now 1 year old, weight a petite 35#, I’m thought to be a husky mixed with a smaller pooch. Due to my shyness, I will need a 4 foot fence to ensure my safety. I’m great with other dogs, kids, people of all ages once I settle in. (Maybe cats) No mean bones here! Being a Happy-Go-Lucky boy, I just love a good game of chase, tug or simply a walk with my person. Then it’s time to settle in for a nap and snuggle time. Please consider meeting me. This “coal mining boy” is digging to meet his forever family! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat.
