Story
Hiya I'm Stormy! Are you ready for crazy energy and love, or ready for a 'storm' to spark your life! Please meet me! I'm a hyper little gal that has been bounced around a bit in my short life, and am really looking for a place to call my forever home. Hopefully you can deal with fur, lots of talking and singing, and general husky-ness - lets face it - a husky isn't easy and not for everyone. While I've lived with dogs in the past, my energy and exuberance can be a bit much for some, so please bring your furry friends down to meet me. I'm not sure how I fell about cats, but generally my energy is too much and if your cat is inexperienced in the husky factor, it is probably not a great idea. As for kids, I love love love to play and cuddle with kids of all ages! Again, I can be a bit too much, so ideally kids that are comfortable with jumpy, energetic dogs would be great! I do still need work on some basic manners and house skills, but I hope my energy and loving personality make up for my quirks! Please stop by the shelter to meet me and take me home! ---Our facility is open daily from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, meet and greet appointments are highly recommended. If you are interested in meeting an animal please contact us via email at Lancaster@pspca.org to learn more about our adoption process and to set a meet and greet appointment.

Story
Hello, my name is Bernard and let me tell you my tale.I'm a rambunctious Siberian husky that found my way to the shelter as a stray - as you know, my breed enjoys a good romp and wander but I was never reclaimed.I need work on crate-training and while I am sometimes good when left alone, I also (as is normal for my breed) like to get into mischief when I'm alone. Hey, I get bored so I like to sing and chew things, I just don't always know what's mine or yours.I have been living with another dog in my foster home and enjoy having a canine companion around. I cannot live with any cats or other small furry animals, as I like to give chase.I am a bouncy boy and love people, maybe too much because I have a history of playing a little too rough with people. I forget that I'm a big boy with teeth and people aren't dogs. I am requiring my future people be 15 and older as well as experienced with huskies or big mouthy guys like me so I can continue working on myself and being the bestest husky around. I also must have a doggie friend to live with, as it helps me tremendously to be my best self.Do you have room in your home for a pup like me? If the answer is yes then come down to the shelter and lets meet!---If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application as I am in a foster home and available BY APPOINTMENT only.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Aura's personality: Aura is an amazing husky with a lot of energy and loves to play. He is very intelligent and learns quickly. He will get along really well with most people and rarely ever gets grumpy. Truthfully, he's a very happy dog and easy to fall in love with. He's rarely defiant for a husky and I've never personally had issues with him. He's just a really good dog. The situation: I am a long haul trucker and cannot take care of him anymore. He was staying with family, but my family members are currently neglecting, due to unfortunate circumstances. I absolutely need him out of that house VERY FAST, as his needs are not being met in the slightest and I'm afraid he'll get ill from the neglect, or worse. I'm hoping a loving person can adopt him and give him all the love he needs. He's so sweet and deserves the best. Please, someone save this beautiful dog, I can't bear knowing he's in pain and being neglected. I just want him to be happy and healthy.

Story
Max is a loving well mannered dog. He is great with kids and people. He is very energetic for being 8. Unfortunately I am running low on energy to take him for walks even though he has a yard to run in. He does need the extra walk. He has 0 food aggression. My 20 month old feeds him every day and will hand him food and play with the food bowl and he stands there like a trooper. He is an escape artist. He loves to run and hunt. I’m afraid with another baby on the way that I will have even less time with him. It is not fair to him since he was the baby for so many years. He loves cuddles and chilling with his humans. I don’t want to be rehoming him but it would be the best thing for him.

Story
Are you ready for fun, frolic and just want to have a good time? Well, I’m your gal! Hey there, I’m known as Daffy. No, not like Daffy the Duck, I’m Daffy the “Friendly to all People” girl that is 6 months old and about 45# that’s looking for not only a good time but a “Furever Home”! Presently living in a rescue/kennel environment, I do need to learn a few things. But being a smart Husky/Pit mix, I’m ready and willing to take my next step and learn to be a great buddy for the whole family. I love to play not only with 2 legged folks, large and small, but also other dogs and possibly cats if given a correct introduction. I’m eager to please, affectionate, loyal, even tempered and yes, even a little “Goofy” in my play. Ball you say, GREAT! Just give it a toss! Huskies are known to be “Free-Spirited”, agile, athletic, ready to explore the outside world and good-natured with everyone. Daffy is just that and more. She is a beautiful pup that is excited to see everyone. Once she says hello, she will settle down and take in your love. Please give my rescue a call to meet me, you will not be disappointed! Daffy is “like Taffy” sweet in demeanor and will stick to your side as you explore together.   DOB: 11/24/23  Pups are Pitbull/Husky mixes.  They are spayed and ready for homes.  Both are very friendly with people and other dogs.  We are not looking to adopt them together. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net.
