Story
COCO came to us after she had a cluster of seizures in her newly adoptive home. She was adopted only a month before from a rescue in Tennessee which did not respond to our inquiries regarding her previous history. Coco is a SWEET girl! She is currently in a foster home with a Chihuahua and several cats and does well with all! She enjoys her walks as much as she enjoys her couch time! Coco is a beautiful red brindle! she is 110% housebroken. Great with meeting new people! Coco is in Keppra and phenobarbital to control her seizures. She has had a couple of clusters since arriving in her foster home and we are working In fine tuning her meds. Coco will need more frequent vet visits than the average dog her age. With excellent care, we feel she can live a relatively normal life and will make an excellent companion for some lucky family. Coco has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Adoption $200. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you are interested in adding Coco to your family! November 3, 2024, 10:40 am

Story
SKYLAR Is a 7 year old husky who was found as a stray in Baltimore. Being bred to run across the frozen tundra, he does like to test his boundaries so a secure fence and lots of exercise is a must for this guy! Skylar loves his walks and loves to be petted. Rides well in the car! He does have some issues with handling his neck/collar area - he may have had a bad experience with rough handling at some point. He does easily let us hook a leash to his collar but was a little mouthy with the volunteers at the shelter where we got him from when they were putting on and off a slip lead over his head. He was very polite about it and didn’t bite down but because of this we prefer him to have a home without small children. We would love Skylar to go to a family with husky experience! He ha shown some resource guarding with toys so we are recommending he be he only pup where he can soak up all the love and attention. Skylar is neutered and has been vaccinated, 4DX tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy please fill out an application at www.companimals.org. Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 December 17, 2024, 5:45 pm

Story
“Some dogs make the world special just by being in it.” Meet precious Stormie. Stormie is a beautiful little darling. She’s so sweet, she could put Hershey’s out of business. Stormie is a 4-year-old Husky/Bulldog mix. This pretty girl is heartsore for love. She is a little confused right now. She had a loving family who cared for her deeply, but sadly housing circumstances landed her at LaMancha after doing their best to keep her. She is extremely smart and loving, and truly just wants to please you. She loves car rides and being part of your everyday adventures. Stormie is an adorable girl with a beautiful white coat who instantly wins the hearts of everyone. She has one beautiful blue eye spotlighting her Husky mix. She’s a perfect size to fit on your lap or lay right next to you with her head on your lap. Stormie’s only goal in life is to have a loving family again. She deserves to be spoiled like a princess. We promised Stormie that her heart would heal soon because her family is coming quickly. We know you will fall madly in love with her too. Stormie is a love, and love aways wins. Important Info: To adopt Stormie, please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org ************ 4 years old. Good choice for a family with children. Spayed, UTD vaccinations, microchipped, wormed.
