Story
Rehoming my beautiful loving husky. He loves to cuddle and any attention he gets. He was homeless so I took him in. I am unable to keep him due to my work schedule and current living environment. I have his shot record available. He is roughly 7-8 months old. He has lots of energy. Someone retired or works from home would be best with room to run. He hates being alone.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Saraph! This energetic sweetheart (born 10/1/21) loves rolling around in the grass under the sun at her foster home. This friendly girl is house trained and is working on building a positive association with her crate. She is good with other dogs and cats. Saraph thinks she is a small dog and loves to cuddle and try to sit in your lap. While she will play with toys, she prefers neck scratches and being as close to her owner as possible. Slow introductions are best when meeting smaller animals. Saraph has had a few experiences with children and appears to be gentle and patient with them.   In the morning, Saraph loves to speak. She will attempt to help with yardwork, keeping your grass down by munching on it. Always curious, Saraph enjoys sticking her nose in the air during car rides. Saraph is great on the leash and is working on not jumping at every squirrel that runs past. Saraph is food motivated and picks up on cues very quickly. This intelligent girl loves a good puzzle.  This girl has everything going for her with the proper time and attention!Saraph is not recommended for a home with children. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. Story
Belfort is a large husky mix that loves to be with and near people. He is happiest when he can be within 5 feet or so of his 'humans', even while sleeping. He is house trained and capable of spending unsupervised time alone without being destructive. While alone he loves to sleep on couches, blankets and pillows. He weighs approximately 74lbs and is up to date on vaccines as of April 2024. He is 4 years old. Activity: Belfort is great at matching your energy level. He can be just as happy on mile(s) long walks/hikes as he is cuddling with you on the couch all afternoon. His favorite game is fetch and he's willing to do so with any toy he can find. He loves chew toys, but plays fetch best with 'soft' toys. He does not show any real interest in chewing on or destroying toys. Belfort plays best with toys, but will try to play nibble/nuzzle when playing with adult men (no interest in doing so with women). People: Belfort loves to meet new people and will immediately befriend visitors including contractors. He can be excited and jumpy at first, but calms down naturally within a few minutes or with a treat. On numerous occasions he has proven to be comfortable sleeping near and on visitors within an hour or so of meeting them. Food: Belfort is currently on a diet of IAMS Large Breed (chicken) dog food. Outside of that, he gets one dental bone (Greenies - Large) Each day around noon and treats when meeting new people. Dislikes: Belfort's dislikes include: - Being confined in small spaces without people around (EX: A dog crate) - He will 'wail' like a dog ambulance - Having his paws touched - He immediately pulls them away in discomfort, but does not show signs of aggression. He seems friendly with large dogs, not a fan of small ones because the neighbors small dogs are poorly trained. ! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Belfort please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org ##2313356##

If you have questions please EMAIL rescue.me.pa@gmail.com or visit mommyandmerescue.com Kennel License: NP 16320 Indie 5 yrs old Husky mix (heinz 57) Female Weight: 37lbs Indie’s story: Indie came to us when she was in labor with a dead pup stuck in the birth canal. Indie’s former owner had bred to a Saint Bernard, which meant the pups were too large to be delivered. We had to have emergency surgery to save Indie’s life. Her uterus ruptured and all the pups had already died. To make matters worse, Indie had lost the use of both back legs due to the large pups pressing up on her nerves for such an extended period. Thankfully with time, cold laser treatment and medications Indie has regained most of her mobility. Her rear right leg is 100% and the left rear leg is about 75%. She will probably have early arthritis in the left rear. Otherwise, Indie is healthy. Indie’s Details: Indie is a super sweet, affectionate girl who loves everyone she meets. She is about knee-high. Indie is a quiet, mild-mannered girl who likes kids and other dogs. Indie is house-trained and crate-trained. Indie likes to snuggle a lot. Indie walks well on a leash unless she has to go potty and then she will pull. Indie would do well in just about any home. A family situation with lots of activity or a retired home where she lays around and snuggles her person/s.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    License: NP 16320     PLEASE NOTE- we do not refund deposits if you change your mind.
