Story
We picked Sadie up from New York State back in May. A mutual friend had a husky who had puppies, and Sadie was a part of that litter. It’s unknown exactly what the father is, for sure some type of Sheppard. Therefor Sadie is more or less a mutt. Sadie is about 7 months old. She did get her puppy vaccines. She’s a great puppy around children, very curious around other pets. Overall a very loving pup, and we just want to do better for her. We can’t provide her the space she needs to be a puppy. Sadie loves to run. She doesn’t run away, but loves to run as fast as she can.

Story
Max is a loving well mannered dog. He is great with kids and people. He is very energetic for being 8. Unfortunately I am running low on energy to take him for walks even though he has a yard to run in. He does need the extra walk. He has 0 food aggression. My 20 month old feeds him every day and will hand him food and play with the food bowl and he stands there like a trooper. He is an escape artist. He loves to run and hunt. I’m afraid with another baby on the way that I will have even less time with him. It is not fair to him since he was the baby for so many years. He loves cuddles and chilling with his humans. I don’t want to be rehoming him but it would be the best thing for him.

Story
Aura's personality: Aura is an amazing husky with a lot of energy and loves to play. He is very intelligent and learns quickly. He will get along really well with most people and rarely ever gets grumpy. Truthfully, he's a very happy dog and easy to fall in love with. He's rarely defiant for a husky and I've never personally had issues with him. He's just a really good dog. The situation: I am a long haul trucker and cannot take care of him anymore. He was staying with family, but my family members are currently neglecting, due to unfortunate circumstances. I absolutely need him out of that house VERY FAST, as his needs are not being met in the slightest and I'm afraid he'll get ill from the neglect, or worse. I'm hoping a loving person can adopt him and give him all the love he needs. He's so sweet and deserves the best. Please, someone save this beautiful dog, I can't bear knowing he's in pain and being neglected. I just want him to be happy and healthy.

Story
Hello, my name is Bernard and let me tell you my tale.I`m a rambunctious Siberian husky that found my way to the shelter as a stray - as you know, my breed enjoys a good romp and wander but I was never reclaimed.I need work on crate-training and while I am sometimes good when left alone, I also (as is normal for my breed) like to get into mischief when I`m alone. Hey, I get bored so I like to sing and chew things, I just don`t always know what`s mine or yours.I have been living with another dog in my foster home and enjoy having a canine companion around. I cannot live with any cats or other small furry animals, as I like to give chase.I am a bouncy boy and love people, maybe too much because I have a history of playing a little too rough with people. I forget that I`m a big boy with teeth and people aren`t dogs. I am requiring my future people be 15 and older as well as experienced with huskies or big mouthy guys like me so I can continue working on myself and being the bestest husky around. I also must have a doggie friend to live with, as it helps me tremendously to be my best self.Do you have room in your home for a pup like me? If the answer is yes then come down to the shelter and lets meet!---If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application as I am in a foster home and available BY APPOINTMENT only.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hello, I`m Cortland! I am a traditional husky cultivar through and through. Let`s just say the apple didn`t fall far from the tree. I like to talk, sing, and crisply howl my emotions. I also can be steadfast and a bit of a tart crabapple if I don`t get my way, or if I`m forced to do anything I don`t like. That being said, I ask that any kids in the home be 8 and older, who understand the gravity of my boundaries. I may enjoy living with another dog but I am not sure how I feel about cats; they`re apples and oranges after all. I just want to plant the seed of what to expect with me in your life. I have a beautiful sheen inside and out, and I am a great choice from the shelter bushel. If you are looking for a friend full of flavor and fun, then I`m your guy!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
I need to rehome my girls. They are escaping live out in the country. They're very sweet girls. I'm afraid something's going to happen to them and they're not living their best lives. We lived in town before this. They did very well in a fence yard setting. Very good with children. Very good with other dogs. Not good with cats or small animals
