Story
Hello there! My name`s Gobi and I am a sweet pup who came to the shelter as a stray. I thought I had found my furever home shortly after, but it just wasn`t the right fit. I like to talk and sing, and anywhere with shared walls is not ideal for me. I must admit I also have a bit of a prey drive and will chase cats and other small animals, and I am not too keen on small dogs either. I have been around children and I am very tolerant, so I could live with all ages. I am a loving pup, and all I ask is for companionship and the freedom to be my expressive self! I hope you will consider adopting a handsome and happy dog like me!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Hiya, I`m Sky! I`m ready to be the star of your show and your life! I`m a young girl with quite a bit of spunk - so I`m looking for a home that has experience with sassy and headstrong dogs like me. I`m your typical husky in that I love to encourage my mischievous side - sometimes I play escape games, some days I like singing, somedays I`m sassy. Because of my sass (and lack of interest in cuddling), I`m looking for a home with kids 13 and older. I`m not sure how I feel about other dogs but I would most prefer one that can learn to read my husky body language. I`m really ready to skip out of this shelter and straight into my new home! Please stop by the shelter to meet me and take me home! I promise a life with me will be anything but dull.---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
casper is about a year and 4 months old, he is very very friendly, never aggressive, but can sometimes be a bit much for other animals when it comes to playing. he is very very hyper (the reason why i need to regime him) and would heavily benefit from having another medium-large dog to play and bond with, as well as open space. he is okay with cats, he just likes to follow them around and it’s up to the cat whether they tolerate that or not, but we have 5 he has never attacked them. he has trouble with pooping and peeing in the house but it’s mostly because i’m not home during the day to let him out. he loves to play fetch or chase or anything physical like that. he is very smart and loves puzzles but also will figure out how to open your doors as he does with mine. his most prevalent issue is his destructive tendencies. if he doesn’t have stimulation (from people or animal) he WILL chew on just about anything he can find, but with a friend at his side it wouldn’t be an issue at all

Story
Meet Thanos, a spirited and unique Husky on a journey to find his place in the world. With his striking good looks and lively personality, Thanos is the perfect companion for someone who loves a high-energy, playful dog. Thanos can be a bit cautious when it comes to handling and leashing, so he would thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can be patient and gentle as he continues to build trust. Though Thanos has a lot of energy to burn, he is still finding his footing in the world and will need a calm and consistent routine to help him feel secure. He would love an active home where he can explore, play, and get plenty of exercise. Thanos is looking for someone who will understand his need for sensitivity, and who can support him as he learns to embrace new experiences with confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal and energetic companion who’s got a little quirk and a lot of heart, Thanos might just be the perfect fit for you! Story
Meet Nala! This beautiful girl with striking blue eyes is a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she warms up fairly quickly. Nala is missing some toes on one of her front feet that causes her to hobble while she walks, but she does not let that stop her. She loves to go on walks and sniff out all of the scents! Story
Neko is looking for a home to call his very own! This handsome, 5-year-old Husky came to our Rescue in March 2021. He was found as a stray at a local vineyard and no one ever came to claim him. Neko is energetic, loving and fun -- a very typical Husky! He would enjoy an active home with adults -- children over 12 years old would be OK, too. Neko would make an excellent exercise buddy. He loves to explore with the dog caregivers here. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for Neko so he can run and play. Neko doesn`t care for other animals and would prefer to be in a home all his own. If you love Huskies, Neko is your boy!
