She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years. This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home. She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done. We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds. We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them. Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life. She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside. But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience. This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people. She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings. Cubby is our handsome Husky mix boy that is just beginning to peel away his original reluctance to trust people and now he is just all about having fun and playing with all the humans in his foster community. He is a loving 2 year old boy who grew up in a pack of other Huskies and also many puppies all around in the backyard. Cubby was never taken out in a car or away from that dirty backyard filled with many items of trash. So. Cubby learned nothing about life and certainly nothing about being on a leash to go for walks. In fact he never had a collar or a leash on him. One month later, he is blossoming so much and every day we see such progress in his confidence. Now, with his foster family he loves to go on walks and is beginning to like and meet new people that he meets. He has gained so much trust and confidence. What is so sweet is that this boy now knows how to play as he tosses his toys in the air and chases bouncy balls. He has the normal Husky energy and that includes a need to run in a fenced area and most certainly he cannot be confined to a crate for 8-9 hours because it is just not in his nature to be comfortable with that. When he is inside a home he can be chill and relaxed with his humans and of course he is wonderful with other dogs and loves to play with them. This young girl Katya grew up on a pretty despairing property that was full of unaltered cats and dogs and not enough food and sometimes no water and often there was not adequate shelter from all the rain and elements of weather. None of the people around her could take care of all the animals. She was tied out and it broke our heart to go on the property and see the condition shevand others were raised in. Katya has risen above all of that as a one-year-old Husky that weighs 60 lbs. and she is a pure love. A happy girl with a little bit of shyness because she's never gotten out into the world to experience new things. When we picked her up from the property and took her off that chain we knew she would be smiling very soon. She is always so overjoyed when you cuddle with her and play. She is a mellow Husky with medium energy that is easy to entertain and deal with. She's lived amongst many cats all her life, so that typical Husky caution of ' no cats allowed', doesn't apply to her. She loves children, loves other dogs and she enjoys meeting adults with just a tad shyness and time to warm up to them. We want someone to spoil her rotten. We want someone that will let her sit on their lap and pretend that she's a Chihuahua like she thinks she is in size. She has an innocence that makes you just want to hug and protect her. Bowie is approximately 11 months old and last weighed in at 44 lbs. We picked him up from the Philly shelter along with Bean (who may be his brother). The only history we have is that on 09/21/24 both dogs were found at the same location and brought to the shelter as strays. They were both a little skinny but have put on some weight and according to the vet, are very healthy. Bowie is a very sweet dog and loves people. He is not food aggressive and seems good around kids. Because he is a very rambunctious puppy, he would need to be monitored around small children. He is very energetic and plays very rough with Bean; these two are very close. Seems ok with most dogs but shows some aggression toward some dogs during his obedience class. His prey drive is very strong, so having small animals or pets (such as cats) around would not be advised. He is a puppy and likes to dig and chew on anything. He is a big jumper and pulls hard on walks, all which can be fixed with time and training. Bowie is crate trained. He has had some monitored time in the house outside of the crate. He likes to counter surf which can be resolved with more training.

We purchased Louis from Zimmer's in Boyertown. He was a five-month old pomsky. He is an absolutely stunningly beautiful companion. He was purchased as an ESA for my son. Sadly, he was not well suited to his living quarters, so my husband and I started looking after him while my son went to work. He eventually realized that he wasn't able to take care of him properly. He knows a few commands, is crate trained. He goes potty on special washable pads in the house. Never goes anywhere else. Pads will go with him. My husband and I are seniors and unable to walk him. We let him out to our fenced-in yard, but it's small. He runs from gate to gate at rocket speed. Loves to play fetch, although he hasn't yet learned the drop-it command. He loves tug-of-war also. He still jumps up and is very strong. He knocked my husband down the other night. He had to wait until I got home bc he couldn't get up. He still play bites, but never breaks skin. He needs a high-energy young person.
