Dog meet and greets are by appointment only, please answer the questions below the bio, either through Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet or by directly e-mailing us at shelter@hbpets.org. Please be patient, we try and get back to you as quickly as possible, answering the questions below, help us greatly. ***Please check your Junk/Spam folder for reply e-mails from us, if its been more than 72 hours*** Hi there, I am Zero, I am a sweet energetic 1yr old, spayed female, Siberian Husky. What the shelter team knows about me: I am very sweet, I am high energy (of course I am a husky), I love routine, I love other dogs, I have been around children, I would love a home with another dog and if it could be a husky that would be even better. I cannot live with small animals or chickens. I am eager and easily trainable, I would love an active home, a hiking buddy or jogging buddy would be fabulous. My adoption fee is $250, includes spay, microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and 1pound bag of food. 1. Do you have a privately fenced yard? 2. How many humans and ages live in your home? 3. How many animals and types? 4. Do you have time for daily walks or jogs? 5. Are you active, hiking etc? 6. Do you have the time for training? 7. Do you have the time to give her hugs and kisses? 8. Have you ever owned a Husky before, before, if so please tell us about them. 9. What would a typical Zero day be like?

Story
We have a 7 month old husky who was living in an apartment with my son. They both had to move in with me and we are not able to care for him. Also we have a four year old child who lives with us and it is just too much. Buddy is sweet, has a happy disposition. Needs more training-an obediance class. He is healthy, needs lots of love and consistency.

Story
Darcy and Kapri are a bonded pair of love bugs, they must be adopted together. Darcy and Kapri are from the same breeder, but are not littermates. Both are a little over 8 years old with about 3 months difference between them. Darcy is a mostly white/gray male with one blue eye and one brown/blue eye. Kapri is a female with mostly black and gray, with one blue eye and one brown eye. Darcy (40 pounds) has a thick coat that needs to be combed at least weekly. Kapri`s (30 pounds) coat is not as thick but still needs combed. They will shed. Both are high energy dogs for seniors but will settle down fairly quickly. Darcy is food motivated but not aggressive. Kapri loves to lick you, kisses hourly if you let her. Daily walks should help even out their energy level and they love to go on walks. They can eat together so no food aggression issues. They can sleep in a crate together or on your bed or floor - up to you. They are a very sweet loving pair. They love people and other dogs - dont know about cats, tho Darcy was super interested in the kennel cats at the office. They were originally surrendered by their owner due to health issues and being unable to care for the dogs any longer. they are looking again for a for-ever home. Please contact us by filling out the application to meet this loveable pair on Our website - OFOSA.ORG. Must go to a home (NOT an Apartment) with a secured fenced yard and BREED knowledge : POMSKY = Pomeranian/Husky mix. Their adoption fee is $400 total for 2 dogs.

Story
HI - I'M PATCH! I'm a 1-1/2-year-old husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California high-kill shelter in the nick of time. I LOVE human attention and affection. I would do well with a single person or people who are active, and who love to go for walks, hikes and other outings. I'm still young but well behaved. I pose well for pictures! I could possibly do well with a female my size, though I'd also thrive as an only dog. Overall I'm a loving boy who simply needs someone to love me back! Please email for an application.
