Story
Here is a heartwarming adoption biography for your female dog, Sakari: Sakari is a young female dog with many endearing qualities. We rescued her from an abusive home at 3 months old and she came to us very scared and very neglected .She is affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, protective, brave, curious, independent, funny, athletic, dignified, and a couch potato when the time calls for it. She's quiet, but never shy of showing her loved ones affection with sweet doggy kisses once she breaks out of her shell. She is good with other dogs her size and would be a great addition to any family. Sakari does not like cats, as she will chase them. She is a well-rounded dog with many unique personality traits. She is young and has many years of love and companionship to offer to her future family. We hope Sakari finds her forever home filled with love, warmth, and belly scratches very soon! If you are interested in meeting her, please go directly to our website at savingonepawatatimerescue.org to complete an adoption application.

Story
Available in TX, PNW or NE! Meet Charlie, a sweet and lovable 6-year-old Husky with a heart of gold! Despite having vision issues in one eye, Charlie is as happy and playful as ever. He's a snuggle pro and absolutely loves cozying up on the couch, especially during a good TV show. Charlie gets along great with everyone-kids, teens, and adults-and is a total people-pleaser. He knows commands like sit, stand, jump, paw, stay, and come, making him a well-behaved companion. Charlie enjoys walks and will happily play fetch, always bringing the ball back for more fun. He loves running around in the backyard, where his calm and laid-back personality shines. His dog toys, which he adores, are some of his favorite playmates. Potty-trained and crate-trained, Charlie prefers not to be in his crate for long but is very easygoing overall. He's a special dog who just wants to be loved and will make a loyal, affectionate companion in any home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Hi, I'm Nina, a 12-year-old Alaskan Shepherd/Husky mix. I might be a bit older, but I've got plenty of love and energy to share! During the day, I enjoy lounging around and taking naps, but I'll definitely let you know when I need to go out or want some attention. Despite being a husky, I'm not aloof at all. I love being brushed and sitting outside with my person - it's one of my favorite pastimes. I'm crate trained and sleep comfortably in my crate at night, though I also enjoy sleeping outside of it too. I'm great with kids and other people once I get to know you. I'm housetrained and know basic commands, especially when treats are involved. I'm a smart cookie and will check the yard for any escape routes, so it's important that fences and gates are secure. I enjoy going for a mile walk twice a day, and I could even go longer, but my human gets tired. On walks, my husky side really comes out - I like to be in front a little and can get easily distracted by other dogs or cats. I don't like being outside alone for long periods, and I really don't get along with cats. If given the chance, I might chase chickens too. I will be your calm, wise companion and will bring so much joy and love to your life.
