Meet Bailey Girl Bailey Girl may have started out a little shy around people, but these days, she warms up quickly and absolutely adores anyone who gives her a bit of time and kindness. She's a gentle soul with a resilient spirit — a truly special dog. While she might be cautious around new faces at first, she’s quick to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. Teddy is a smart and silly dog with a heart full of adventure - without all the adventures! He loves to explore and spend time in the yard and lie in the sun. He gets along with other dogs very well! Though Teddy is still very shy and timid with humans, he still loves to follow you around, see what you are up to, and to be near you! With a little patience and love, he'll be the perfect companion for your home. He is only for someone who has the patience to give him TIME! After living a life outdoors, he is just so grateful to be inside a home at all! If you're looking for a dog who will open up with time and patience, Teddy is the one for you! We have a LOT of experience with the super shy ones, and we KNOW they all come out of their shell and end up being easy peasy companions full of gratitude and love. Teddy also has an enlarged esophagus and needs to be fed WET FOOD (not kibble) or he will throw it up. With wet food he has been fine for 2 straight weeks - so far (starting in early March)! Yay! Meet Darling Delilah, the ultimate gentle soul. This serene, sweet girl is the definition of peaceful companionship. She’s quiet, polite, and affectionate in the most heart-melting way. Delilah loves soft squeaky toys, sunbathing in the yard, and cozy mornings wrapped in blankets. She’s perfectly house-trained, delightfully low-maintenance, and has an old-soul calmness that makes every moment with her feel peaceful. She sleeps through the night either at the foot of the bed, on one of her dog beds, or on the couch in the living room. She patiently waits for her foster parents to wake and take her outside. She can be quite goofy, doing a joyful zoom back to the house after a good potty break, just to celebrate her success. Delilah’s ideal day includes a leisurely morning walk or yard time, a little toy time (especially anything that squeaks), and of course, snack time. When her foster parents leave, she is free to roam in the house, never destructive. Truly, she’s a dream dog for someone who appreciates calm companionship. She’s brave with all sorts of noises, like thunder, vacuums, trash trucks, and fireworks, and none of it fazes her. Delilah is also the perfect work-from-home buddy: quiet, content, and always close by if you need a little furry comfort during your day. She's the type that will come up to you when the time is right for a little ear or nose scratch, almost as if she knew you needed a five-minute break from work. As for the rest of the time, she's a window watcher and loves looking out windows or curling up with a good chew toy. Delilah can be a little shy at first, as new people and new places can make her a bit uncertain. With some time and gentle patience to help her realize she is safe and loved, she bonds deeply and adores her people with her whole heart. She’ll follow you from room to room, greet you like you’ve been gone for ages (even if it’s only been five minutes), and roll over for belly rubs. Delilah loves time with her teenage human fosters, and appreciates the sturdiness of older kids because she loves to lean her whole body in for affection, lay on a lap like a 5lb chihuahua, and occasionally roughhouse play. Delilah thrives in a semi-active home that enjoys neighborhood walks, hiking adventures, and relaxed time in the yard. A family or individual who appreciates nature and is ready to explore trails or snowy landscapes would be a wonderful match. While she loves the great outdoors, she equally values her downtime indoors and settles in beautifully after activity. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard… a place where she can stretch her legs, roll in the grass, and soak up the sun. When it comes to other dogs, Delilah is currently living with quite the crew; from goofy puppies to large adult dogs and even a tiny Chihuahua. Husky lovers, do we have a special treat for you! Ranger Roo is an all-around amazing, lovable, handsome, adventurous and smart boy. He's a total lover boy and the perfect mix of affectionate and fun. Ranger Roo sometimes even believes he's a lap dog and will try to sit in your lap for cuddles if you let him. There is so much to love about him and we haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Ranger is dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to. In true husky fashion, he is a vocal fella and plays exactly like a husky too. If you know, you know. He loves to romp around, play chase, engage in those rumble-and-tumble moments, and is all about having a great time. He’ll also make sure everyone knows he’s having fun because he’ll start talking and hit you with those classic woo-woo’s like he’s singing to an audience. It’s quite hilarious. As mentioned earlier, he shows all the typical husky tendencies. He will give a verbal correction if play gets a little too rough or if the energy becomes a bit too high for his liking. Overall, he is a vocal guy and would do best in a home with another dog that is comfortable with a talkative companion. He would also do great as an only dog. He doesn’t need another dog to feel comfortable or open up, he’s a natural lover boy all on his own. Ranger is a smart boy who is treat motivated and loves to please his people. He already knows how to sit and will even sit automatically sometimes without you asking. He walks well on a leash, only pulling occasionally out of excitement. It does not take much to correct him either, a simple leash correction is all it takes to remind him that he needs to walk like the gentle king he is. We can easily see him becoming a great hiking or adventure buddy, and there’s a good possibility he’s going to love snow too! Ranger does get riding in a car and can load up by himself easily. If you watched his video then you saw how much he loves car rides! He'll sing about them, talk about them, and he loves being able to stick his head out the window. This boy was born for adventures and anything with you! His fosters actually take him with them everywhere they go 80% of the time. He loves tagging along. Ranger has beautifully balanced energy and is great at matching whatever you need him to be. Want to go on a hike, light run, or neighborhood walk? Ranger will be your outdoorsy bestie. Want to relax and have a chill day? Ranger will find a cozy spot to lay down and be your cuddly king. He truly is the best of both worlds! He also has great house manners and is crate trained and potty trained. We believe he would do best in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment. Nira here is a thoughtful heart and chase queen! Nira is so fortunate and is waiting for her adoption day living in a loving foster home. Her foster shared Nira is both house and crate trained and has been a fun addition to her crew of dogs and kids. Basically, she kinda slid right in and has been playing and snuggling ever since. She’s not the type to rush in, she prefers to observe a bit before making her full, loving commitment.. And when she does? You’re an item. This girl is wonderfully dog-oriented and truly shines when she has canine companionship. Her confidence noticeably grows when another dog is present, and she relaxes into herself much more easily. She enjoys play that involves chasing and movement, and even though we cannot say with a guarantee what her breed is we see her herding instincts come out when a good round of chase gets going. She also gets a little vocal when she is playing but it is all in good fun. She would do wonderful paired with a medium-energy, goofy dog who can keep things fun. As much as she loves playing with a doggie friend- she is more than happy to entertain herself with a toy. Stuffies are a fave but she has yet to meet a toys she didnt enjoy. With people, Nira needs time and calm introductions. Her foster shared that new environments and unfamiliar faces can seem to overwhelm her at first, so she’ll do best in a quieter home that understands the value of slow trust-building and a little patience. Once she bonds, she seeks affection, jumps up to ask for love, and happily engages with her people. Treats are a big motivator for her and go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and confident so stock up! Nira would thrive in a home with a yard, another dog in the home, and adopters who are patient, consistent, and respectful of her need for space early on. She is not a candidate for apartment or city living and would be happiest as a homebody dog rather than one expected to tag along to outings or social events. Kids and family life are welcome!
