Story
1.5 year old Husky and Catahoula Leopard mix named Gator. He is great with other dogs and kids. He is neutered. He is potty trained and knows some basic commands. He has lately been escaping from my house when people come in and out of the door and I am worried he will get hit by a car in the neighborhood (I live near a main road with lots of traffic). Would like for him to go to a home with some property for him to run and roam or to a family with lots of energy to take him for frequent walks/exercise. Please message for more details.

Story
Meet Gunner! A loving and loyal 2 year old male Husky mix. Gunner is a playful and inquisitive sort of dog who is happy to curl up with you on the lawn, play a good game of fetch, or chewing up a good toy. He is fully up to date at the vets, neutered, and a recent visit to the vet with a clean bill of health. He has on leash anxiety around other dogs but has made several friends with proper introductions having had no incidents. He does have a prey drive and is not small animal friendly (Cats, Chickens, etc.) Kennel trained for up to 12 hours, but is accustomed to light or moderate activity every 2 to 4 hours. Not a fan of cars, but will sit for a couple hours. Would make a fantastic dog for a family without small children or someone outdoorsy. Would do best with a yard or a fenced space to roam.

Please be patient, we try and get back to you as quickly as possible, answering the questions below, help us greatly. ***Please check your Junk/Spam folder for reply e-mails from us, if its been more than 72 hours*** Hi there, I am Zero, I am a sweet energetic 1yr old, spayed female, Siberian Husky. What the shelter team knows about me: I am very sweet, I am high energy (of course I am a husky), I love routine, I love other dogs, I have been around children, I would love a home with another dog and if it could be a husky that would be even better. I cannot live with small animals or chickens. I am eager and easily trainable, I would love an active home, a hiking buddy or jogging buddy would be fabulous. My adoption fee is $250, includes spay, microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and 1pound bag of food. 1. Do you have a privately fenced yard? 2. How many humans and ages live in your home? 3. How many animals and types? 4. Do you have time for daily walks or jogs? 5. Are you active, hiking etc? 6. Do you have the time for training? 7. Do you have the time to give her hugs and kisses? 8. Have you ever owned a Husky before, before, if so please tell us about them. 9. What would a typical Zero day be like?

Story
Hi, I'm Nina, a 12-year-old Alaskan Shepherd/Husky mix. I might be a bit older, but I've got plenty of love and energy to share! During the day, I enjoy lounging around and taking naps, but I'll definitely let you know when I need to go out or want some attention. Despite being a husky, I'm not aloof at all. I love being brushed and sitting outside with my person - it's one of my favorite pastimes. I'm crate trained and sleep comfortably in my crate at night, though I also enjoy sleeping outside of it too. I'm great with kids and other people once I get to know you. I'm housetrained and know basic commands, especially when treats are involved. I'm a smart cookie and will check the yard for any escape routes, so it's important that fences and gates are secure. I enjoy going for a mile walk twice a day, and I could even go longer, but my human gets tired. On walks, my husky side really comes out - I like to be in front a little and can get easily distracted by other dogs or cats. I don't like being outside alone for long periods, and I really don't get along with cats. If given the chance, I might chase chickens too. I will be your calm, wise companion and will bring so much joy and love to your life.

Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.

Story
Spike is a "manly" kind of name, right?? I am a guy, so I must be "strong like bull" :) Actually I am kind of a goofball. Smart and silly, playful and happy- just grateful to be alive!! I was saved from a high high kill shelter in W Texas and have been here getting my heartworms treated and having friends and an actual life... but now my goal is to have an actual FAMILY too!! I am good with other dogs, although I am a dominant boy, so I need either to be an only dog or to have a submissive friend to hang with. I am also a husky and all that goes along with that breed applies, I am active, I need a husky knowledgeable family cause we are escape artists and shed A LOT!! I would love to get out of HOT-TEXAS and AC is my friend but cooler weather would be AMAZING!! Adopt me soon, I am ready!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
