Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable with new people. But once I get to know them, I'm very loving.I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. Story
Siberian Husky 4 years old Male 61 pounds Kids · 6+ Dogs · No Cats · No What My Friends Say About Me: I’m a high-energy Husky with enough zest to keep up with even the busiest of schedules. I’m always ready for action—whether it’s running, playing fetch, or exploring new places, I’m your go-to adventure buddy! I’m a total people person and love spending time with my humans, getting all the attention and affection I can. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I prefer to be the only dog in the household since I’m not a big fan of sharing my space with other canines. I could use some positive reinforcement training to help channel my energy and learn new tricks! My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.I have been known to shower my favorite people with love! I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.I have been diagnosed with giardia which is a contagious intestinal parasite. I will need to be quarantined during my treatment period. The type of home I'm looking for:I may do best in a home without cats or small animals, but having another dog to play with could be fun!I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
