Story
Hi, I`m Astrid! I`m about 4 years old and weigh 72 pounds.Do you like dogs? I can come on pretty strong and don`t always mesh with every dog I meet. Please bring any dogs in the home to see how we hit it off! I would do best with dogs around my size.Cats? Staff recommend I go to a kitty-free home.Kids? I can be jumpy at times and may accidentally knock over little kiddos. Please bring any kids in the home to meet. 8+Anything else you`d like us to know, Astrid? I`m a very sweet, smart, affectionate gal. I would thrive with daily mental and physical exercise!** I`m a volunteer favorite and here`s why:`Astrid is such a beautiful, big girl! Friendly, fun on walks, affectionate.``We went on a field trip - walks along the river, and had a great time. She`s a wonderful passenger in the car too!` **I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Available in TX, PNW or NE! Meet Charlie, a sweet and lovable 6-year-old Husky with a heart of gold! Despite having vision issues in one eye, Charlie is as happy and playful as ever. He knows commands like sit, stand, jump, paw, stay, and come, making him a well-behaved companion. Charlie enjoys walks and will happily play fetch, always bringing the ball back for more fun. He loves running around in the backyard, where his calm and laid-back personality shines. His dog toys, which he adores, are some of his favorite playmates. Story
Available in TX, PNW and NE! Meet Maddie! This sweet, sassy, and spirited 1-year-old Husky/Collie mix is ready to bring joy and adventure into her forever home! Weighing around 50 pounds, Maddie is a playful companion who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys interacting with cats. She's also wonderful with toddlers and children, making her a perfect fit for a family looking for an affectionate and kid-friendly furry friend. Her friendly and fun-loving nature shines, and she'll keep you entertained with her playful antics and affectionate personality. Maddie loves to play ball and will happily chase after her toys for hours. However, she hesitates to get into a car and needs a little encouragement to hop in. Once settled, she rides just fine and enjoys the journey. Maddie thrives in a stable home with someone there most of the time, as she cherishes human companionship and craves reassurance. She can be anxious in a kennel, so a family that offers her plenty of time and space to relax in a calm environment would be ideal. This smart girl is already learning her manners, including commands like sit, down, and recall. She's eager to please and picks up new skills quickly, making her a fantastic candidate for continued training. Maddie's blend of sweetness and sassiness will bring so much personality to your family, and she'll be thrilled to join you for walks, playtime, or just hanging out on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal, lively, and lovable addition, Maddie might just be your perfect match! Give her the stable, loving home she deserves, and she'll reward you with endless love and devotion. Story
Here is a heartwarming adoption biography for your female dog, Sakari: Sakari is a young female dog with many endearing qualities. We rescued her from an abusive home at 3 months old and she came to us very scared and very neglected .She is affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, protective, brave, curious, independent, funny, athletic, dignified, and a couch potato when the time calls for it. She's quiet, but never shy of showing her loved ones affection with sweet doggy kisses once she breaks out of her shell. She is good with other dogs her size and would be a great addition to any family. Sakari does not like cats, as she will chase them. She is a well-rounded dog with many unique personality traits. She is young and has many years of love and companionship to offer to her future family. We hope Sakari finds her forever home filled with love, warmth, and belly scratches very soon! If you are interested in meeting her, please go directly to our website at savingonepawatatimerescue.org to complete an adoption application.
