Story
Meet Prince – Your Loyal and Adventurous Companion Prince is a stunning 3-year-old Siberian Husky with a heart as big as his beautiful coat. This resilient boy was found as a stray, already neutered and microchipped, but sadly, his owner never came forward. When rescued, Prince’s fur was so severely matted that it required removal under anesthesia, revealing painful sores underneath. Now fully healed, Prince is ready to leave his past behind and find the loving forever home he deserves. True to his breed, Prince is a spirited and adventurous pup who loves to explore. While he enjoys outdoor time, his ability to climb fences means he needs a home with supervised outdoor activities or a family committed to taking him on walks and adventures. He rides like a dream in the car, making him a perfect partner for road trips or weekend getaways. Indoors, Prince is an affectionate and loving companion who adores snuggling up with his people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with canine siblings. Though he’s still working on his potty training, Prince is eager to please and will thrive with consistency and patience. If you’re searching for a loyal, playful, and adventurous friend who will shower you with affection, Prince might just be the perfect match. With his resilient spirit and loving nature, he’s ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, care, and endless adventures. Could Prince be the missing piece of your family? Prince is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported out of state. Adoption fee is $250 in Texas, $550 out of state to cover the health certificate and transport costs. To apply directly for Indie click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-564 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

Adoption fee: $150.00Weight: 72.8lbsArrival Date: 11/22/24Microchip #: 941010002284719Hi! I’m Monte and I’m a Husky! And just in case you couldn’t tell by my face that I’m a Husky, I’ll sing you the song of my Husky people, because I’m a Husky. I like treats and longs walks and to be brushed and to be petted and to chill out with you while we watch a movie while we share popcorn & laugh at the same corny line and later when we hear that line in public, we’ll look at each other with raised eyebrows and then we’ll giggle and people will say “What’s so funny?” and you’ll say, “Oh, you wouldn’t get it. You had to be there”. But they weren’t there, because I’m your best friend and a Husky. My mom was probably a Husky. Are you looking to have a Husky in your life? I’m a Husky! I’m also a really awesome dog.

It’s Abel’s turn now and he’s looking forward to quiet moments with his new pack member. Abel is loyal and friendly, but he comes off reserved. Shelter life is a big adjustment for him and he is still learning the ropes. Abel is walking better on a leash since his arrival, sits for treats, and enjoys the company of certain dogs he has met. Three words to describe Abel are Floof, Aloof, and bit of a Goof. Looking to add a husky to your everyday adventures? Stop by SafeHaven to meet Abel and get to know this one-of-a-kind dog!

Story
Meet Rose! Rose was surrendered to a shelter along with her best friends Mr Gold for unknown reasons. She is now looking for a forever home to spend her golden years in along with Mr Gold by her side. Rose is a happy, sweet girl who is also confident, outgoing and affectionate. Despite loosing their home and family, Rose and Mr Gold have adapted beautifully and settled right in. Even though this gal is in her senior years she is a real go getter and has great mobility! She loves her daily walks and has quite a bit of pep in her step. Rose has done well with other dogs and we believe would do just fine living with another canine pal. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Rose's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Rose would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!   ##2330874##
