Casper was given to us by a gentleman who could not take care of him because he has a lot of energy and the gentleman was older. I am not someone who gives animals away after taking them in but I recently lost my father and am in a deep depression and unable to care for him properly. He is part husky so he is very hyper and needs someone who will work with him and train him. He is very smart and very sweet. He just needs someone to give him a better home than I am able to. He has been neutered, given his shots, microchipped, and is on heartworm preventative. Somebody please love this boy.

She might be skittish at first but warms up quickly. She hasn't been around cats or kids, but when we've been in public she's had to issue toward kids and she's never chased after cats. She's just lightly has stared at squirrels. No real prey drive. She knows how to sit and stay. She loves just cuddling and getting treats. She gets along really well with female dogs, but she can be apprehensive to male dogs. She will stay in an enclosed area and she's great on a leash. House Manners: Kept indoors, foster can advise of her schedule. Basic Training: Sit, Stay, Good on Leash. Other Dogs: Ok with other dogs. Cats: No Known history living with a cat but has not chased when encountered. Kids: No Know History with Young kids but shows some nervousness around them. Fencing: 6 ft is recommended for huskies. This one is not known to have a high escape drive when her needs are met. This Dog is a courtesy listing for its current caretaker. The dog is not in our care at the rescue or a part of our rescue, but we have been advised it needs a home and we may have assisted in the pet being fixed and started on vaccines. Please understand the process may be a little different since the pet is not housed with our agency. The first step is to submit the adoption application and we will be in touch. The adoption fee is $75.This dog has had its Rabies Vaccination and is spayed or neutered. Other vetting may or may not be complete but we require the rabies vaccines (over 4 months old) and to be fixed to post the animal. Any additional medical needed would be at your expense through your vet. We encourage you to take any of our courtesy listed dogs to your vet to be checked for heartworms and other internal parasites and get any missing vaccines they may need. Some courtesy listed dogs may have all this done already and the caretakers will give you records at the time of adoption. Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption: We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information. We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-womer after leaving our care. Only submit one app for any of our dogs, your app will be on file for at least 1 year. Meet Livee, she is a sweet hearted Husky that was left abandoned and shortly after that a farmer was wanting to have her euthanized for killing livestock and I could not let that happen. She has been taken to the vet and had all over her shots and a clean bill of health. We were told that she is around 8-9 months old rite now, so expect a playful puppy who loves to run jump and howl songs with. She does wonderful with larger breeds of dogs and would be preferred to have a companion. She is still a little skittish with new friends but after some treats and lovins then she will be the best friend you have been looking for!

Nove is a skiddish girl. But once she warms up to you she is very sweet and will not take no for an answer when it comes to pets and rubs. She doesn’t like dried sweet potato treats. She likes walks and despises bathing. She has very sensitive skin and some grass allergies. Nova was a dog my sister raised and due to her moving situation (she’s blind and needed someone to look after the dog) I offered to foster. When she moved with our mother, they told me after a month of them moving that the house landlord did not allow pets. I am now moving myself (abruptly and unexpectedly) and cannot foster any longer. 10/21/2024 is our deadline.

Rowdy is super friendly and sweet. He needs a person experienced with Northern Breeds. He especially loves men and desperately wants to be part of a pack. He likes cats but may be too high energy for a lot of cats. Rowdy was brought to me about a year ago by a person who found him hungry, very thirsty, and eating bugs and trash. I was able to provide him a safe place - got him neutered and keep up on his shots. Vet records available on request. He is quite a spoiled boy but is very unhappy and bored (my lease only allows for one dog) ...he really wants to belong to a pack or at least a household with another dog... He goes to doggy daycare upon occasion and does very well with all dogs. He loves kids but gets very excited and jumps up on them. Again, he needs an owner familiar with the quirks of his breed. I have a bad back and some pressing health issues and need to find Rowdy his fur-ever home. I will waive the adoption fee if you provide reference from you vet. 🐾💗🐾
