Story
Remmy, the dashing red dilute husky dude, is around 2 years old, weighing in at a sleek 50 pounds. He's currently perfecting his leash swagger and is a total sweetheart with his caretaker. He loves riding in a car.  This charming fella is neutered, up to date on all his shots, protected from fleas/ticks and heartworms, and even flaunts his own microchip for that VIP treatment. He's a people-loving pup and we're slowly introducing him to other furry friends - some become instant buddies, while others don't quite make the cut. One thing's for sure, cats are a no-go for Remmy! – he's not on Team Kitty! He does need a fenced yard as huskies are runners.  He is fine with some dogs......but he is selective.  If you're smitten by this ball of fur, hop on over to www.pawsandprayers.org to fill out an adoption application. His adoption fee is $250. Got any questions? Shoot an email to marty@pawsandprayers.org. Story
We adopted Yoda, formerly known as Honda, from a family friend at 4 months old. He is now 9 months old and a phenomenal dog for someone who is at home. We both work very busy schedules and he’s in a huge stainless steel crate but he manages to escape and shred if left unattended. Fully crate trained to sleep inside at night. Husky’s are known for being escape artists which we knew, but we don’t have the time anymore or money to keep replacing items when he escapes while we’re at work. He loves children, toddler age included. He does jump quite a bit as a puppy would. He is a phenomenal dog and we would love to keep him if we could only get him to behave while nobody is home. He needs somewhere loving, with lots of toys. He is completely potty trained at nighttime in the crate and when outside of crate but when left unattended will pee. He isn’t fixed due to age and behind on shots. He does have his first few though, just time and behavior stopped us from having the money to keep giving

Story
She's a very good dog, listens very well. Grandma passed and the family is selling the house, no one can take her. I can only have her in my tiny apartment for so long until I get introuble. I really don't want to have to take her to a shelter she doesn't deserve that. She ok with cats, she doesn't like them but tolerates them. She doesn't get along with other dogs that ive noticed. She only gets along with my mom's male rot mix. She sleeps in the bedroom with you with Door closed at night. Crated or confined in the kitchen when not home.

Story
Miss Naomi. Siberian Husky. Possibly a hybrid. She has piercing hazel-blue eyes and unique facial features/markings. She is spunky and fun. Naomi has a neat personality, knows some commands, Loves snacks and belly rubs. When she connects with you she connects. She has been nothing but gentle and sweet with us at the shelter. Gets super excited when she sees us but can be leery of strangers. She has met other dogs and did well. She also met a cat at the vet and was non reactive (but she was very afraid and stressed at the vet so this may have caused her to be disconnected).Naomi is underweight. We are working on that at the shelter. She was found on 7/3/2023 with No collar, No ID, No Microchip in Westfield Township.Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt.
