At first, she can be a bit shy, but with a little patience, she'll quickly warm up and show you her affectionate side, complete with joyful tail wags. Misty adores pets and thrives on attention, making her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. She's always excited to go on walks, and explore the world around her, and she's shown interest in other dogs around her. Misty is ready to bring her vibrant energy and cuddly personality to her forever home! If you think Misty has stolen your heart, please bring your family and canine companions to the shelter during open hours. Note that a meet and greet with other dogs in the home is required before adoption can be completed to make sure everyone gets along.

Meet Sweet Cocoa!! Cocoa is 9 years old and weights 60 lbs. Cocoa is house-trained, and knows basic commands (sit, stay, down). Cocoa is smart and very sweet! She is a perfect house dog and can be left "home alone". Unfortunately, her owner had health issues and could no longer care for Cocoa. Now Cocoa is in a temporary foster home with two doggy pals while we search for her forever new home. Cocoa also lived with cats and is cat friendly. Cocoa loves everyone she meets both adults and kids. She loves car rides too. Cocoa needs to lose some weight but don't tell her we said that!;-) She is spayed, vaccinated and in very good health. Cocoa is a wonderful dog! If you are interested in Cocoa, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Cocoa would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process. She's a very good dog, listens very well. Grandma passed and the family is selling the house, no one can take her. I can only have her in my tiny apartment for so long until I get introuble. I really don't want to have to take her to a shelter she doesn't deserve that. She ok with cats, she doesn't like them but tolerates them. She doesn't get along with other dogs that ive noticed. She only gets along with my mom's male rot mix. She sleeps in the bedroom with you with Door closed at night. Crated or confined in the kitchen when not home.
