Story
Freddy is my sweet sweet baby. We saved him with intention to fostered him in 2021. I picked him up from a boarded up junkyard when he was about 4 months old. His parents were there- a Siberian husky and American bulldog- they watched us leave. It was heartbreaking. My husband and I are military part time and federal employees full time. Between being gone on military orders and traveling for work; Freddy is just not as happy as he deserves. We don’t crate Freddy although he is crate trained. He has free range of the house and never messes with anything and doesn’t have accidents unless he is sick. Freddy doesn’t bark, he has a cough- although he has accidentally barked before and scared himself. He is very smart. I had him in obedience classes from 4 to 24 months, he always did very well. We continued sessions at parks and stores wifh a trainer where he also did very well. His behavior depends on his mood sometimes he chooses to be more distracted. He’s a great kid loving dog.

Story
Freya is a wonderful dog and very well loved. My husband and I adopted her when we got our first apartment. She was my therapy animal when I was struggling with a severe panic disorder. She was with us for the birth of our son and has always been a part of his life. She's helped me through some of the toughest times in my life, and it kills me to have to find a new home for her. Unfortunately, medical emergencies cost my husband his old job, and the new one doesn't pay as well. We were still managing to support her just fine, but now she's starting to develop hip dysplasia and is struggling more and more to get up and down the stairs to our apartment. We can't afford veterinary care anymore, and she's getting old. We also can't afford to live anywhere else right now, either. Freya is incredibly mellow and well-behaved. Her hips are starting to go, and she's always been prone to skin allergies, particularly to fleas.

Story
Honeybun is an amazing young dog/puppy she settles in the house and is great with animals. She NEEDS a YARD if I had one I would most likely keep her. If you do not have a yard please do not apply. She settles amazing in the house, does not chew, does not really bark ever, but loves to play with her toys. When I take her outside though she is very excited and she needs a place to run around or other dogs/kids to play with. She is so so sweet, but I think that she will be happier with more room to play. Honey does decent with cats if she gets too excited she usually will lay down and just wag if you tell her no. Usually she just ignores them. She loves dogs though. She needs more training with leash walking, but she can sit and we’re working on “leave it” and “stay” commands. She has a bed, toys, food, leashes. Just looking for someone who has more time and lots of love to give to her.

Story
Hi! My name is Judge. I was surrendered to the shelter with my brother Jacoby by a backyard breeder at only 5 weeks old. I’m getting to be a big boy now and am ready to find my family. I am a typical puppy and don’t have an off switch. I can get very vocal but it's just because I have so much to say! I love to explore and get into things. I have had a great start at socialization and am very brave in new experiences. My favorite past time is digging holes and climbing on things. I am crate trained and am working very hard on learning my commands. I'm good at sharing my toys and even do good with the cat! My new family must understand my needs and what it will take to make me a happy, well adjusted adult. Daily vigorous exercise, and exposure to new things is a must. I am super bestest buddies with my pal Hemlock - https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/40400664-dayton-ohio-american-pit-bull-terrier. We get along so well that the folks here are MVPC say that we CAN be adopted together. So, if you're ready for the best dynamic duo around - pick us!
