Story
Luna is a high energy girl who loves to run and play. She will need consistent and ongoing training as well as a refresher in house breaking. Luna needs to be the only animal in the home. While she has lived and played with other dogs, she is a resource guarder and when it comes to toys, food and anything else she sees as hers, which can cause issues in the home. she does ok with kids but due to her high energy she knocks small children over or jumps on them. She would do best in a home with teenagers. She does like to jump and has been known to jump over chain link fences, so she would need to be supervised if left out alone. Luna loves cuddles, belly rubs and to just be where ever her people are. If you would like to meet Luna, please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit her and all our other adoptable pets.

Story
Meet Avi! He is the true meaning of rescue. Avi used to live with an abusive owner, until we changed his path! He has come so far, and has been clicker trained, but is still healing and will need a patient adopter who is willing to continue his training. He is about 9 years old and weighs around 55 lbs. He loves everyone he meets, but is not good with children or cats, and doesn't understand why they move so fast. He is slow to trust, but very playful and affectionate once he knows he is safe. Avi will jump a fence that is smaller than 6 ft tall, and will need long daily walks. He currently lives with and loves his boxer bulldog mix foster brother, but knows he is the pretty one! A home with another playful husky or other dog similar in size would be ideal! HUSKY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. CANNOT BE PLACED WITH CHILDREN OR CATS. If you want to be a part of Avi's recovery and future, and are willing to invest in long term training, apply for him today! His adoption fee is $25. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LOUC/Dog All of our animals come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and Bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

I'm around 2 years of age, a well balanced social gal that is just happy to be living life to the fullest. I am loving, active and playful. I am that pawsome size ready for all your activities...from a companion to tag along on all your daily going on's to an action packed sidekick tackling those nature trails, I'll be ready to go! I'm so looking forward to being that heartbeat at your feet, ready to give you all this love and butt wiggles I've got stored up!! Sweet natured, loving and playful along with my adorable 'lil' face will have me being that fabulous family member just waiting to happen!! And it just so happens... I'm waiting for YOU!! My name is Sakari and I'm a happy bouncy gal that is wanting a home, a family...one to call my very own. Did you know that Sakari is a Native American name meaning 'sweet'. And did you also know that there is a Native American legend that if you have 2 different colored eyes you can see both heaven and earth at the same time? Pretty cool, huh?!!! I'm around 2 years and 54lbs. I am that pawsome medium size for anything you've got up your sleeve (and you can always count on me to be game to give it a try). I love long walks, hiking nature trails, being your co-pilot on errand runs or just chillin on the couch. I'm a well balanced social gal that does well with people, both tall and small and the other foster pups too although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat! I'm active, playful and love to explore...everywhere! I have tons of love ready to be unleashed on my family and I'm big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet. My oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunningly gorgeous good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family? If we could be that perfect fit please fill out my adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Zuke was born March 9th, 2023. He's a very good energetic dog. He howls like most or all husky. He graduated from K-9 school. We are a big family. My husband and I have 6 kids, 4 at home and 2 grandkids that come over daily. Zuke is a family dog. He loves attention. He sleeps in the living room on his cot or on the bare floor. He loves to play tag a war, fetching and squeaky toys. He let's you know when he wants to go outside. He literally comes to you and howls for you to follow him to the door. He will make a great family pet. We are going to miss him so much. We just want him to go to a great family.

Story
Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
