Luna is very high energy and loves to run and run. She is great with my kids other than she does get very excited when we first get home and she jumps still trying to break her of this also is a little bit older and she digs holes to go under the fence, we love her however, we do not have the time due to a new job and going to school and she is in a crate a lot and she shouldn’t be due to how much energy she has. We are looking for a single person that is willing to take her on and has a yard for her to run.

Story
Hi! My name is Judge. I was surrendered to the shelter with my brother Jacoby by a backyard breeder at only 5 weeks old. I’m getting to be a big boy now and am ready to find my family. I am a typical puppy and don’t have an off switch. I can get very vocal but it's just because I have so much to say! I love to explore and get into things. I have had a great start at socialization and am very brave in new experiences. My favorite past time is digging holes and climbing on things. I am crate trained and am working very hard on learning my commands. I'm good at sharing my toys and even do good with the cat! My new family must understand my needs and what it will take to make me a happy, well adjusted adult. Daily vigorous exercise, and exposure to new things is a must. I'm going to be a big boy. Right now I’m all legs and ears, but that won’t last long. I am still young and working very hard my house training (so I may still have accidents). ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 5/28/2024 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Required CATS: Yes CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER INQUIRY/CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!

Story
Meet Sasha, a 2.5 year old Siberian Husky. She loves her people and greets them with a waggy tail and sloppy kisses. Car rides are her favorite activity, and she will sit quietly in the seat gazing out the window as she dreams of running along-side the car!  Whenever there is a car involved, she is the first one in when the door opens! She likes to play with toys, but quickly will get bored with the activity unless you change it up. Long walks are always anticipated and she will practically put her own harness on. She is crate trained and can demonstrate the basic commands, although, she is a husky, so obeying the commands isn't always 100% because huskies are stubborn! Wrestling with her people is one of her favorite things. She typically isn't destructive except for items like remotes, pens, pencils, and earplugs that are lying around. This girl is an extremely picky eater. She does respond to treats, but they have to be Sasha-approved! She's been known to turn her nose up at food to try to get you to give her what she wants.  At bedtime, she goes straight to her crate to sleep, but also enjoys sleeping on a dog cot in her owner's room.   Sasha is in need of the perfect home that has no small children for the duration of her life. She is currently in a family with 3 children , the youngest being 8, and gets nervous when kids are around. There have been instances of nipping/biting out of anxiety and resource guarding. As of now, we do not know if she can be around other animal companions. She struggles with fear and will lash out if she is anxious. At 2.5 years old, this beautiful girl needs to find someone experienced with her breed. She needs to have a fenced in yard to keep wandering animals out of her space and to protect children that could be walking by.  Sasha could benefit from someone who will be home a lot and can commit to helping her with the anxiety.  Adoption app: https://halok9behavior.com/ ##2206205##

Story
Meet Whitbier! Whitbier is a 5-month-old male Husky mix with all the classic traits you’d expect from a Husky—curious, playful, and full of energy! This active pup loves people and other dogs and is already crate and potty trained. He’s also learning the house rules like a champ. Whitbier is happiest when he’s either in the middle of a wrestling match with dog friends or out exploring the great outdoors on a hike.  If you’re ready for a lifetime of excitement and companionship, apply to adopt Whitbier today! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   November 9, 2024, 7:23 pm
