Story
Ah, you found me! The name’s Zorro, and I’m just a charming Husky mix looking for someone to share life’s grand adventure. Sure, I’ve had my ups and downs—surrendered by my last family because they couldn’t keep up with my zest for life—but I’m not the kind of guy to dwell on the past. I’m all about the future, and I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be spectacular.I’m a bit of a free spirit, you see. I love the feel of the wind in my fur, whether I’m exploring a fenced yard or safely tethered on a tie-out. I’ve got a history of being a runner (what can I say, the open road calls to me), but with the right setup and someone to share the journey, I’m ready to stay put—at least for a while.I’m impeccably mannered in my kennel, keeping it clean and tidy like the gentleman I am. I’m told I’m selective about other dogs, and cats? Well, I’ve never met one, but I’m open to new experiences. Walks are a joy for me, especially with a harness, and I’ll happily trot by your side as we take in the world together. So, what do you say? Are you ready to take a chance on a handsome, adventurous soul like me? I’m waiting for you at FDHS—come find me before someone else sweeps me off my paws. **Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 45 lbs**

Story
If you're ready for a whole lot of Husky and a whole lot of heart, Thor is here to steal the show! This striking blue-eyed boy came to us with his equally charming brother, Loki, and both are looking for homes to call their own.Thor is your classic Husky through and through: a bit dramatic, fiercely independent, and brimming with personality. He’s not the biggest fan of the shelter’s noise and hustle but get him outside, and you’ll see his sweet, playful side shine! Once he's in the open air, away from the kennel chaos, he’s all about fun, adventure, and, yes, some serious Husky sass.Thor is incredibly vocal (he’ll tell you exactly what he thinks!), strong-willed, and absolutely loves to run. So, he’s looking for a home that understands the Husky lifestyle—a place where he can get the daily exercise and mental stimulation he needs to stay balanced and happy. And, of course, anyone adopting Thor should be ready for all that floof! Grooming is essential for this fluffy fella, and he comes with an endless supply of Husky “glitter” (aka fur) to sprinkle throughout your home! While he’s been pretty indifferent to other dogs here, we aren’t sure yet how he’ll do with small animals or young children. But with the right match, Thor is ready to settle into a life full of fun, companionship, and adventure. If you're looking to add a little (or a lot) of Husky drama and a ton of love to your life, come meet Thor and see if this blue-eyed beauty is the missing piece to your family! And don’t forget to check out his brother Loki, too!

Story
Hey there, future human! I’m Loki, your soon-to-be favorite red fluffball and certified Husky goofball extraordinaire. I arrived here as a stray with my bro, Thor (yep, he's available, too!), and I’m on the lookout for a new partner in crime—I mean, loving forever family.Let’s get down to business: I’ve got a big personality (who, me? Dramatic?), and I promise I’ll keep you thoroughly entertained. Whether I’m singing the song of my people, zooming around like a maniac, or giving you my best “innocent” look, life with me will never be boring. But I’ll warn you now—I’m a runner! So, unless you want to see me dart off like the wind, make sure you’ve got a secure yard or a strong leash, okay? Also, I’ve got this luxurious red coat that requires regular brushing. What can I say? Being this fabulous takes work. So, if you’re ready to keep up with my Husky energy and don’t mind a bit of fur (okay, a LOT of fur), we just might be a match. So, what do you say? Are you ready for a life of laughs, fluff, and Husky shenanigans? Come meet me and see if you can handle all this Husky charm—I dare you!

Story
Hi, I’m Kenai!I’m just a little Husky mix pup trying to figure out this big, wide world. I don’t know how I ended up here at FDHS, but I’m starting to realize it might be the place where everything changes for me.I didn’t have a lot of practice being around people or walking on a leash before I got here, so I’m still a bit unsure about it all. But every single day, I get a little braver. The nice humans here are showing me how good cuddles feel, how fun walks can be, and how safe I really am. I’m even starting to wag my tail more when I see them!I came in with my brother, Koda (he’s here too!), but now I’m hoping for a family of my very own—someone patient and kind who will help me grow into the best version of myself. I’m just a pup, so I still need guidance, love, and a little time to learn how to be the goodest boy ever. I promise I’ll make it worth it.They say I’m probably going to stay on the smaller side when I’m fully grown, which makes me the perfect size to take on all your adventures or curl up for some snuggles. I may start off shy, but once you earn my trust, you’ll have my whole heart forever.

Hi, I’m Koda.I might not be the first one to run up to you with wiggly tail wags and kisses, but if you’re patient, I promise I’ll be the one who steals your heart. I’m a Husky mix who came to FDHS with my brother Kenai, and this whole “shelter life” thing is still pretty new and a little overwhelming for me.I’m on the shy side, the kind of pup who likes to take things slow. Loud noises? Fast movements? They’re not really my style. But if you give me time to warm up, you’ll see the real me—the sweet, soft boy who just wants to feel safe, loved, and understood.I’m still learning how to do big-kid things like walking on a leash, but I’m trying my best, and I get a little braver every day. I just know that with someone gentle and kind to guide me, I’ll grow into the confident pup I’m meant to be.So, if you’re looking for a pup who needs a little extra love to bloom, I think we might be perfect for each other. Apply for me and let's see if we are a good match!
