Like most huskies, he is incredibly friendly and loves being around people. His affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around, always seeking attention, pets, and playtime. He thrives on companionship and enjoys making new friends. One of Krueger’s favorite activities is running around, full of boundless energy and enthusiasm. Whether he's dashing through open fields, playing in the snow, or simply enjoying a brisk walk, he embraces every opportunity to move and explore. His playful spirit and loving personality make him not only a great companion but also a source of constant joy and excitement. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs 6 months and older if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!

Looking for a sidekick to ‘get into trouble’ with? Clifford will fulfill that role! Social Cliffy will do well in just about any environment. Flea market check. Patio dining. Check. Running. Check. There isn’t a human or dog he doesn’t like. He isn’t spooked by crowds or loud noises. He is confident, independent, affectionate when he wants to be. He is simply wonderful. Clifford comes to you for affection when he is in the mood for it. He soaks in your hugs. He may even give you a kiss or two. When he is done, he leaves and finds something else to do. He loves to be outside. He loves patrolling the yard, picking up smells. He usually pulls the first 5 minutes of a walk either because he is eager to smell who has been there before him or eager to get his walk started! After that 5 minutes, he settles into an easy walk. Clifford loves to play fetch. He fetches but doesn’t always bring the ball back. Sometimes he fetches and runs towards you and you think he is bringing it back but oh no. He runs past you and keeps on running. Clifford wants to play with every dog he encounters. He is so friendly. Clifford hasn’t found his husky voice yet but he looks like he will have lots of fun with it once he does! 🤗 Clifford is 3 years old, 40lbs Siberian Husky. He is looking for an active home with lots of outdoor adventures 😊 He is so sweet and wonderful with people and dogs, comfortable in all environments, pretty relaxed for a Husky, surprisingly chill in a crate. He is just perfect!

Meet Rocky. Saved from an overcrowded shelter in southern OH. A great dog. Rocky appears to maybe a Husky/Shepherd mix. He is about 2 years old and 50 lbs. Rocky appears to be dog friendly. We will get an idea soon on how he is with cats. He will need regular exercise and would be great as a jogging partner. Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is heart worm negative. He did test positive for Lyme but has no clinical signs. He is in doxycycline for a month as a precaution but no further treatment will be needed. His adoption fee is $180.
