Story
🐾 Meet Veronica! 🐾 (81 days in the shelter)🎂 Age: 6 years🐶 Breed: Husky/Pomeranian Mix (we think!)⚖️ Weight: 31 lbs✨ About Veronica:This sweet, petite girl is:✅ Great with dogs and people 🐕❤️👩‍🦳❌ No chickens or cats please! 🐓🚫 (She’s a little too interested in them.)👁️ Born with an underdeveloped eye, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit!Did great sleeping in a crate at night, she fussed for a minute but then slept the night. No accidents for this little sweetie. Rain or snow she's still gonna go! Potty outside that is. She's super loving and a great edition to most homes. Veronica might look like a Husky, but her tiny size has us wondering if she’s a Husky/Pomeranian mix. Either way, she’s full of love, charm, and personality!💵 Adoption Fee: $150Veronica is ready to find her forever home. Could she be the perfect addition to your family? 🐾💕Veronica is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, microchipped, heartworm and lyme negative, and will be spayed upon adoption. You can apply online for them at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21 OR stop in to the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.

Story
RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

What a cutie! This little guy is spunky as can be and will do anything to have your attention! Kai does great with dogs, cats, and children. He can be a little bossy at times, but with time and patience, he settles down and behaves like a good boy! Kai will be a medium sized dog once he is full grown. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!
