She's a very good dog, listens very well. Grandma passed and the family is selling the house, no one can take her. I can only have her in my tiny apartment for so long until I get introuble. I really don't want to have to take her to a shelter she doesn't deserve that. She ok with cats, she doesn't like them but tolerates them. She doesn't get along with other dogs that ive noticed. She only gets along with my mom's male rot mix. She sleeps in the bedroom with you with Door closed at night. Crated or confined in the kitchen when not home.

Hello everybody, my name is Misty I am around 3 months old and I'm a Labrador retriever puppy. I was one of eight from different breeds that was rescued just 30 minutes from death. I was rescued from Houston, Texas. A very high kill shelter that does not care about killing mothers puppys healthy dogs, but Ms. Addie rescued us and told us she would find us a loving home. I am good with kids. + I love all kinds of people. I'm good with other dogs and I'm sure I'm good with cats because I'm just a puppy and I love everything. I'm very excited in hoping that somebody will fall in love with me and give me a wonderful home. I'm looking from a new mommy, although I don't know who my mom was because They couldn't find her. Where did you acquire your pet? I got Astro from an abusive household while I was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas How old is your pet? Astro just turn 4. He was born Sept 12th, 2020 What are you looking for in a new home? Astro has behavioral issues, which have only gotten worse since I got him in 2022. I have talked with multiple trainers and it’s not that I can’t afford the training… I just don’t have it in me to put him through it. I have severe mental health issues and I can’t be assertive with him because it hurts me extremely. I am scared he’s going to bite someone. The trainer I talked to suggested I find someone who can give him that attention he needs. What adjectives would you use to describe your pet? Cuddly, loyal, playful, gets the zoomies. Loves having a yard. Other dogs: he is okay with other dogs but it does take him about a week or two to get use to them.

Meet Sweet Cocoa!! Cocoa is 9 years old and weights 60 lbs. Cocoa is house-trained, and knows basic commands (sit, stay, down). Cocoa is smart and very sweet! She is a perfect house dog and can be left "home alone". Unfortunately, her owner had health issues and could no longer care for Cocoa. Now Cocoa is in a temporary foster home with two doggy pals while we search for her forever new home. Cocoa also lived with cats and is cat friendly. Cocoa loves everyone she meets both adults and kids. She loves car rides too. Cocoa needs to lose some weight but don't tell her we said that!;-) She is spayed, vaccinated and in very good health. Cocoa is a wonderful dog! If you are interested in Cocoa, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Cocoa would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process.  Remmy, the dashing red dilute husky dude, is around 2 years old, weighing in at a sleek 50 pounds. He's currently perfecting his leash swagger and is a total sweetheart with his caretaker. He loves riding in a car.  This charming fella is neutered, up to date on all his shots, protected from fleas/ticks and heartworms, and even flaunts his own microchip for that VIP treatment. He's a people-loving pup and we're slowly introducing him to other furry friends - some become instant buddies, while others don't quite make the cut. One thing's for sure, cats are a no-go for Remmy! – he's not on Team Kitty! He does need a fenced yard as huskies are runners.  He is fine with some dogs......but he is selective.  If you're smitten by this ball of fur, hop on over to www.pawsandprayers.org to fill out an adoption application. What a loyal girl. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs. Adoption Fee: $310. All our dogs are microchipped and up-to-date with age appropriate shots.
