Story
Looking for a new best friend or an ESA? Koda just may be the one. He puts his all into a relationship and is fiercely loyal. He will follow you to the ends of the world. This sweet boy is a little shy when meeting new people. He appears aloof while he takes a few minutes to check you out. Once he knows you have the potential to be a pet/hug dispenser, he is a little social butterfly. He invades your space. Lays on you. Trailing behind you everywhere you go. Koda is amazing with adults, kids and dogs but not cats. When playing with dogs, when he does a gentle paw smack, that is his cue that he is done playing. Koda is wonderful on a leash. He can be easily redirected to focus on you. He loves long walks or runs, nature walks, hikes and car rides, really just anywhere you need to be, Koda will be right there beside you. He is also content to snooze on the couch with you. His favorite toys are balls and squeakies. When you come home from work, he likes to greet you with a howl. Koda is 3.5 years old, 35lb Siberian Husky. He is looking for a semi-active or active home. A fenced yard is preferred as he loves to run to maintain his physique. He has been told he looks really good for his age. Like a typical husky, he can scale a low fence, is a picky eater (mix it up with wet food or chicken breast). He is crate trained but is not a huge fan of the crate. We are working with him to change his mind about it. For a Husky, Koda is surprisingly calm, quiet and very behaved. He is one true gentleman and may just be the ESA you are looking for!

Story
If you live alone, enjoy conversations but don't really care much for human companionship, you need to come and meet Sunflower! Sunflower will carry on a conversation with you all day. She will agree to appease you, disagree for the sake of having a debate or simply because she just loves to gossip about everyone and everything under the sun. This girl can talk! 😊 I guess she must love the sound of her own voice. If she is not talking, she is either sleeping or snuggling with you. And boy, does she like cuddles and snuggles! An affectionate Husky? Almost unheard of. She will sit and snuggle. Mouth zipped. Quiet time. Enjoy the peace. Sunny loves her walks. She walks nicely on the leash. Sometimes she pulls because she is excited to get somewhere fast. Smell a prey, perhaps. Yeah, she has a high prey drive :/ Sometimes, she looks back at you with her piercing blue eyes during the walk as if to say, "Hey, can we pick up the pace?". Sunflower makes a wonderful companion. She is small enough where she can easily be picked up and carried around. Her energy level is just nice. Not too wild like a typical Husky. She is a good combination of calm and play. Sunny is playful with all dogs. Sunflower is a 1-year-old, 34lb Siberian Husky. She is looking for a home where there is a good balance of adventures and cuddling on the couch. She makes a good companion. Kids and dogs are welcome.

Story
Like his Star Wars character, Greedo is a comic! His unique look (but very handsome indeed!) coupled with his personality makes him a hot commodity! He is silly and entertaining. He will make you laugh and forget the bad day you just had. Saying his name or telling him he is a good boy is enough to send him dancing :) He tippy taps his feet, so cute! If you tippy tap with him, he will break out in zoomies :) Fact: Zoomies are a sign of happiness, so this makes us very happy to see him happy at even the slightest of engagement! Greedo loves being outside. He gets super excited when you take him outside. Sometimes, he goes straight into zoomies. Needless to say, he isn’t a very good walker, at least not the initial part of the walk. He is too excited to focus on his walk. Tip - let him get his zoomies out of the way first then he'll be yours for the walk! Off leash in a confined area, Greedo loves to run. He tries to beat the speed of wind. He says if you want to be a good bounty hunter, you must be fast. Even in the rain, he runs fast. Rain doesn’t bother him. Greedo takes his job very seriously! All that said about him, Greedo does have chill qualities and is super sweet and loving. He melts into you if you cradle him. He looks at you adoringly and will offer up a kiss or two :)  Greedo is a year old, 34lb Husky mix. He is looking for an active home where there is an abundance of outside activities. A runner in the family would be ideal for him. He also need a human cuddler in the family as Greedo is super sweet and loving. He loves everyone he meets. Greedo is house and crate trained.

Story
Hi there! My name is Bob and I’m a very good boy. Here are some of the ways the volunteers here at the shelter have described me: “lovely dog”, “full of love”, “friendly dog”, “calm”, “sweet”, “loves pets” and “walks nice”. It sounds like I’m already stealing hearts here at the animal shelter but I’d love to steal yours! I’d love a forever home and some humans to call my own. I’m a husky and I’m about 1 1/2 years old. I’m very smart and I always have my listening ears on. I’m not bothered by the other dogs here at the shelter so I might even do well in a home with other dogs. The best decision you can make is to come up and meet me. Don’t blame me if I win you over though….I’m going to put the charm on. If you want to adopt me (and I think you should) please bring any other dogs in the home so we can meet and make sure it’s a good fit. - Bob🐾 The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30pm-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter dog in need
