Story
Selah is a beautiful Husky mix.  The vet estimates her date of birth as 8/6/2022.  She is medium size.  She is crate trained and walks well on a leash.  She seems to get along with other dogs, but hasn't been exposed to cats.  She seems like a low-key kind of girl, just looking for a family to love.  She would do well in any kind of family.  She's young enough to love playing with kids, or taking hikes, or just lying beside you and watching tv. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption and fill out the application to make this pup a member of your familyMarch 7, 2026, 6:47 pm

Story
Meet the Woodland Wanderers: Meadow, Reed, River, and Willow These four sweet pups came into rescue at just over two weeks old after their mother sadly passed away. With round‑the‑clock bottle feeding and plenty of love, they’ve grown into healthy, affectionate little explorers who are now ready to find their forever families. Their mom was said to be a husky mix, though their full DNA is a mystery — we lovingly call them NC Specials. Based on their build and background, we expect them to land somewhere around 40–60 lbs once fully grown, though that’s our best guess. Because of their likely husky traits, we prefer homes with a secure fenced yard where they can safely stretch their legs, play, and burn off that joyful puppy energy. Each pup has their own budding personality, but they all share the same gentle nature, playful curiosity, and love for snuggles. After such a tender start to life, they deserve homes where they’ll be cherished and continue to thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heartwarming rescue story, one of these Woodland Wanderers might be the perfect addition to your family. Want to see more?
