Story
I got R2 in Kentucky from a breeder. He is a pure bred Wooly Siberian Husky. His birthday is 11/18/18, so he will be 6 years old this year. He got neutered in 2019 and is updated on all of his shots and microchipped. He is a very sweet dog and loves being loved on. He loves cuddles and tummy rubs. He is very energetic and loves going on cool day walks, if no walks for the day, he is pretty chill laying down all day. I am looking for a safe, happy home for R2. Someone who can afford to spoil him and give him what he wants and needs. He is a very sensitive dog (his tummy). He is great with children and other dogs/cats, but he understandably needs his space too. He does not like his rear end messed with like grooming or another dog nipping at him there. He is not aggressive at all towards humans, just more defensive towards dogs respectfully especially around his food.

Story
Koda is a 5-year-old, 46lb Siberian Husky. Calling all Siberian Husky lovers! Meet Koda, a loving boy who is on the calmer side for a Siberian Husky. While Huskies do require a fence, this guy doesn't make any effort to jump over the 6-foot fence at his foster's house. He is house broken, crate trained, and really just wants to be with his person. Koda would need a house with no small dogs or cats but gets along well with bigger dogs. He is fully vetted and ready to find someone who can give him the love he needs! If you are interested in adopting Koda, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Skylar is a 2-year-old, 50lb brown Husky mix. Couldn't you just fall in love with those blue husky eyes? The eyes lure you in, but Skylar's sweetness makes you stay! She is a smart girl who already knows some commands and loves to play. Skylar does great with dogs her own size but isn't a fan of smaller dogs who are aggressive or dominating. Due to her size and energy, Skylar will need to be in a home with a fenced in yard. She is completely housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. Skylar also does great on a leash, but sometimes can pull if she gets excited. Since she's a strong girl, she'll need to be in a husky experienced household. If Skylar is the blue eyed beauty you've been looking for, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/.
