Story
Ghost is a 3-year-old Husky mix with a big personality and a strong love for people. He’s a very social dog who enjoys being close to his humans and staying involved in whatever is happening around the house. If you’re looking for a dog that will be your companion and keep you company throughout the day, Ghost is happy to fill that role. Ghost is intelligent, expressive, and alert. Like many Huskies, he does best with routine, structure, and an owner who enjoys working with active, engaging breeds. He thrives on attention and interaction and will do best in a home where someone is around often and able to give him consistent guidance and outlets for his energy. He would likely do best in a calmer home with fewer animals and an owner who appreciates high-energy, people-oriented dogs and is comfortable continuing his training and routine. We care about finding Ghost the right fit and are committed to placing him in a responsible, experienced home where he can thrive.

Story
Meet Shiloh! Shiloh is a handsome 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix weighing about 55 pounds and fully grown. With his striking looks and gentle personality, he’s everything you want in a husky — loyal, affectionate, and easygoing. Shiloh is calm, sweet, playful without being overwhelming, and loves being near his people. He enjoys cuddling on the couch, going for walks, treats, being brushed, and just quietly spending time with his family. He forms strong bonds and truly enjoys companionship, but he’s also content to relax independently and settles in nicely when left alone. Shiloh is fully house trained and has excellent house manners. He is not destructive, sleeps peacefully in his bed, and does well with free roam while his people are away. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting outside for some fresh air and exercise. He gets along well with other dogs, especially playful and confident ones, but would also be happy as the only dog. He does not require a fenced yard and has thrived in a home without one. Shiloh would fit well in a variety of households — whether with a family, couple, or individual looking for a calm, loving companion. He is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal friend who will happily cuddle and be by your side, Shiloh is your boy. Contact us today at adopt@carolinapaws.com to meet him!

Julia is a 14 months old (as of 2/20/2026) husky mix. She loves to go on walks and snuggle on the couch. Something that is SUPER SPECIAL; she has heterochromia, which means having ONE BLUE EYE and ONE BROWN EYE! How cool is that!! It does not affect her vision at all. Julia is coming out of her shell; starting to explore more and learn about all the fun things! Contact us today to learn more about her at nothingmlrescue@gmail.com

Story
Looking for the perfect walking buddy and couch companion? This amazing senior girl Luna might be your match!  - Loves walks and is super easy on a leash  - Crate trained and house trained  - Great with kids  - Sweet, loyal, and still full of personality She’s a wonderful dog who enjoys her toys a little too much and prefers not to share them with other dogs—but with people she is pure love. She will do best being the only dog in the house. Don’t let the “senior” label fool you—this girl still has plenty of life, love, and tail wags left to give. She’s ready for a forever home where she can be your loyal best friend. If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** March 24, 2026, 7:35 pm

HUSKY + PITBULL but looks like a Carolina dog, pit sky, etc There’s no choice — the dogs have to be rehomed. I would rather find them loving families myself than have higher-ups take them and leave their future unknown. This is the hardest decision, but it’s about making sure they’re safe and cared for.
